A year or two ago I was informed of the dissolution of the GHQ organization. Do I care? No. My interests are not in them and never have been. My interests have only been in uprooting the damage they have done to Prabhupada and Krishna Consciousness, trying to clean up their mess they incessantly make, uncaring who it chases away from becoming a devotee.
Do I believe they have broken up the organization? Only can speculate, common sense suggesting its mixed.
These guys are big power-control freaks, likely had battles between themselves, making a few enemies between themselves. Enough could quit the group 'officially' to also cause others a loss of interest.
Concurrently these guys need each other since few will agree with them. Likely made some permanent friendships still emailing each other privately about their Obsessive Compulsive favorite topic: degradation of womanhood, superiority of manhood, with other subject matter in the middle. I don't believe they have gone away, just underground until the next opportunity to do more harm.
They have problems that will never go away independently. It either needs to be kicked to the curb with conscious intent, or professional help. Doubt they'd do either. It requires inner honesty, then external humility to go get what is needed.
Although sometimes life can get mean and as a result, a realization may be figured out. Considering it might take something big to fall into their own world and tear it apart until they awaken out of their slumber, not waiting around.
Their proclamation to superiority quickly vanishes to any devotee spending time reading what Prabhupada wanted for his society. If GHQ are superior by their expertise of following Varnashrama Dharma [caste system style]y, then why their senior citizens aged 50 and over, do not renounce married life to take VarnaPrastha? Then sanyasa?
Arguments from Krishna Book previously mentioned, tho explained. Man does not have to leave wife if they can be Krishna conscious together. GHQ, Polygamists, sex and power addicts can not be Krishna conscious in the association of any woman at all.
They see female body - they want either her body parts to enjoy, since that's his main interest and not much her soul, or if he's moody he takes it out on her releasing through bossiness. Similarly takes pleasure frightening women into submission.
Makes her cook too much according to his "specific particulars," therefore also serving his upper tongue. The last might be tolerated a short time for young grhastha, though even that should end soon into the marriage and better to live simply.
Then with age, according to scripture devotee men are expected to renounce whatever they be fussy about, good eating, cleaning, color of clothing, sex. To get serious and prepare for the time of death.
More outstandingly is their bragging of following superiority, which they've clarified as Varnashrama Dharma, not cent-per-cent Krishna Consciousness. But they do not do accurately. They can't pick and choose what they want to follow, or when.
Acceptance of their initiation means they’re to be monks. Marriage was a concession for a 25 year period of time. Some GHQ have used up that time span. Why these immense promoters of Varnashrama lifestyle do not follow these other parts of Varnashrama, but only selections they like?
Arguments they still have householder responsibilities, with babies and children who need them, is easily explained. They hide behind it as an excuse to "continue searching” for co-wife’s, like Fantasia is endless. Recommended they stop indulging in sex, and shut down potential baby factory "mentality," then they won't have continuous babies to look after.
Claims these children still need dad made bring thought. However for them, its excuse. Many such men are extremists either spoil son he's a god, or abuse daughter so she will be quick in blind submission. Exceptions may exist. Thereby next point, Varnashrama is fully open for man to have visitation to interact with his children. Set up arrangement with his bank to send money regularly to wife for children. May sometimes see wife, but in Sanyas, not to see wife and tempted back as householder. However, he can send her money. It is not that now he has renounced so who cares what happens to her? The opposite is true, he must financially support. Especially, after many years of householder life he should have planned for it and put money away just for this purpose. Prabhupada told a sanyasi to send his wife money.
GHQ, always braggarts about protection, let them separate themselves from their money. Because money can be protection for women - polygamists wouldd no longer be needed. It pays the bills and more. Its a very powerful form of protection! However, control-freaks will never do. Its time for renunciation but when push comes to shove, they do not renounce even though they expect all those surrounding them to renounce or surrender or be submissive to him. He does not set the perfect example.
Valid reason these superior devotees do not participate in these other two ashrams of Varnashrama Dharma? Because they themselves do not live Varnashrama correctly. Often giving fanatical comprehension what women should do, they can't take next step men are to do? Only women who have to follow rules of Varnashrama and not the men? Hypocrisy. Fact: these men don't follow much of anything correctly. They follow where sense gratification leads.
Sense gratification is not limited to sex (though plays a enormous role), but also power over others, the ability to intimidate men as inferior to GHQ, the ability to frighten women, playing mind games and enjoying on the mental platform the impurities that go on in their thoughts, all are forms of sense gratification for certain men afraid to surrender their power to any authority like temple president or some guy whose boss in a company office. Although opportunity is there to live outside yet perform regulated temple service, this means they have to surrender some false ego, and that they will not give up.
Unfortunate for such men who select Varnashrama ‘caste system style,’ or “imitation” of ancient bhakti yogis in scripture, that after decades as kali yuga King of the Roost in his home, its extremely difficult for him to be genuinely humble in the real world of devotees.
They are very behind compared to other devotee men who respected and honored their devotee wife, found realistic ways to get along. Therefore uncovering ways to get along with innumerable others in the process.
Use of grhasta (marriage) ashrama for purification in this way, also did not let their egos escalate, bringing more happiness than that of misogynist’s Lord and Masters of all they survey.
The normal, regular devotee men are more advanced. GHQ and any misogynists, is in for a shock if they ever go outside, into the real world. Which they don't do much of anyway, not for any length of time to interact as someone equal with the guys. Only with others who believe like them, not with the real devotee world who disagree with them.
However, why this head-strong believe they have in their superiority? Maybe trying to overcompensate for sins.
GHQ are not the good devotees, they are the outcasts, the rebels, the deviants, the troublemakers. They are not the cool outcasts, do not be fooled they are rebels for a good cause. They are the the devotion-breakers, the disturbance-makers, that congregated on the web since they could not gain much traction congregating in temples.
These are men who contradict many instructions of Prabhupada EXTREMELY,
while lying that they are following EXTREMELY superior.
Sex, alcohol or drugs/adrenaline junkies, self-appointed authorities, can't get along at temple or in groups where they're not the authority, these are men with problems.
They misrepresent Krishna. Do not be discouraged from Prabhupada by the nonsense they speak, many are not following even the 4 regs or chanting 16 rounds, and those who are, too many do so with resentment of woman, abusing her since he can't have sex with her. HE TOOK THE VOWS, no one held his hand to fire. Now as with everything else, he wants to pass the responsibility somewhere else. It does not end with woman, they will blame anything they do wrong, on anyone else.
We humbly ask the GHQ, the non-ghq polygamists, all misogynists, and those who hurt women then blame God or Guru, or hurt women then claim it was not pain (more lies) - RECONSIDER the severe damage adding up in their karmic bank account, and turn things around by practicing pure Krishna Consciousness, because when they practice Varnashrama Dharma they do not do it correctly, but exploit. Others may practice Varnashrama dharma correctly, but any devotee who has a weakness should be honest about that weakness and avoid what flames it up again.
GHQ, Polygamists, Narcissists, Egotists, those with drug or alcohol problems, those who enjoy the rush they get as 'always right,' those who can't feel how good it feels to take the (sincere) humble position - hear our call: You can make this your last birth if you stop right now the nonsense twistings and excuses you keep telling yourself, replace them with Prabhupada's accurate philosophy, and correctly practice the highest: Krishna Consciousness.
Honestly we don't think they will, though now we can say we've done everything we can to try to help. The rest us up to them.
What is more important is no longer misrepresenting Prabhupada, stop turning others away from him because GHQ etc are too puffed-up, sick, whatever else, to admit they're not following his pure teachings. Sankirtana is massively important and never does it cease to be. They want to mitigate it, claiming Prabhupada was only acting out of emergency but later everything was suppose to change with women in the home only and men as their gurupati. When asked to show proof, they can only quote pure devotees lifestyles from scripture, not one letter Prabhupada wrote in kali yuga. Neither have they elevated themselves to fill the shoes and qualifications he expected of the initiated disciple, what to speak of any type of guru, not even gurupati gets a pass. No passes, but work, purification.
Many polygamists and misogynists do not like to engage in book distribution or anything that takes them out of the house socially, forcing them to get purified by talking to others. This is yet another example how they rather change Prabhupada's philosophy than admit they have problems. Nonetheless, they can now wake up and try AGAIN.
Practice what you preach, renounce your poor wife "with" plenty of money for her and the children to live nicely for life. GHQ, Polygamists, Misogynists are too attached to money, all the more reason to let it go. Then distribute Prabhupada's books. Put your money where your mouth is, old men its time to move on RESPONSIBLY. Follow through.
Young men, don't fall prey to their preachings allowing temptation of polygamy as if going to open the door back to Vaikuntha. Sex and power only keeps devotees entangled, therefore anyone can remain devotee for many births but not end death. Otherwise make this the last birth and take shelter of Prabhupada's true process. Hear from him directly on DVDs, read his letters. No more mixing it up. The outcome will only be, MIXED UP.

BRAHMACARINI ASHRAMA and HANDBOOK
Swore off GHQ, but recently was sent a link by a friend. Doubt she knew what she was sending, as simply she was looking to become a better devotee, searched the internet. Merely looking for some brahmacarini or strict Krishna consciousness material to read, found a link she thought to genuinely be iskcon related. After reading, she sounded hopeless. Anything that makes me angrier than a hot enchalata are men aiming to tear down the spirit of women trying to make honest Krishna conscious advancement.
Forwarding it to a list of her godsisters which included me, I read only 1 or 2 paragraphs, immediately recognized it as GHQ propaganda. To double check I scrolled, changed topic, read more. Than was convinced it had to be ghq! Next looked for the authors name. Without a doubt, he is a member.
Although this was a link titled how to get "trained as a brahmacarini (priest)" that title was a LIE. It was a link how to get trained up to serve man - or you will go to hell, become a whore, if you don’t. Thus more GHQ polygamist deceit and trickery. An honest discussion they can not have, because they will be conquered.
Founder of GHQ fought with his own guru. Regularly. Fiercely. They'd actually break up. After time passed, he again would try to return to his guru, eventually to have another fight and disassociate. Then make up again, continuous went this cycle. If he can't even get along with his guru who he himself picked, does anyone believe he's going to get along with the many wives he desires, who he himself shall also pick? Other members can hardly be much different.
GHQ have gone out of their way to try to close all brahmacarini ashrams in every temple, even though this is fully against instructions of Srila Prabhupada!
Certain other topics discussed on this blog may have some appealingly contradictions or confusion (because Prabhupada expected initiates to actually become the pure devotees they vowed to become, but later he had to change instructions since they were not following to achieve that goal). However with Brahmacarini Ashramas, there is not one letter of such instructions to be found anywhere that Prabhupada wanted them closed. None. This is merely another GHQ twisting of Prabhupada's philosophy so they can exploit those in his Movement for their pleasures, which includes power.
SP letter to Satsvarupa Montreal, 8 August, 1968:
"That the Brahmacarini ashram is a good success is very good news. But the best thing will be if the grown-up Brahmacarinis get married. According to Vedic culture, woman is never to remain independent. I shall be glad if the Brahmacarinis can have nice husbands, and live as Grhasthas. But if they cannot find out GOOD husbands, it is BETTER to remain a Brahmacarini all the life, even though it is little difficult."
Hidden reasons GHQ want to shut down Brahmacarini Ashramas:
* GHQ desire sex with all those women living in the ashrama. Like candy just out of reach, they simply can't get at that candy, speculating if they closed down the asrhamas, then they could. No, even in the dearth of ashrams, spiritual women don't want these fallen men.
SPL, Melbourne, 10 February, 1973:
"First let us understand that polygamy cannot be permitted in our society. Legally it is impossible and neither are there many of our devotees who are prepared to assume the responsibility for many wives. Therefore as I have suggested previously as they do in Christian religion they have so many convent where the women stay and they receive protection."
GHQ might look at that in reverse. They tend to twist everything into reverse, if it serves them. Might say its evidence of Brahmacarini Ashrams are blocking polygamy & their desire to change the entire iskcon society, therefore want to close Brahamcarini Ashramas. However, that is going against Srila Prabhupada's instructions above, and elsewhere. They should stop reading in reverse, and surrender to the way things are all ready established by Srila Prabhupada.

* Should woman not desire GHQ man, he does not take rejection well. Therefore is fine with him that she is not otherwise facilitated to become a devotee. (Opposite of Prabhupada's preaching mood, & his mood to make temples available for everyone.) Only if she marries ghq man as one of his co-wives, will he educate her about Krishna. By closing Brahmacarini Ashrams he hopes women will approach him as GURU.
Srila Prabhupada, June 18, 76, Toronto Interview w/ Prof's O'Connell, Motilal & Shivaram:
"In our material world, is it any prohibition that woman cannot become professor? If she is qualified, she can become professor. What is the wrong there? She must be qualified. That is the position. So similarly, if the woman understands Krsna consciousness perfectly, she can become guru."
Srila Prabhupada letter, 1969:
"yes woman can certainly reach the perfectional stage of devotion to Krishna."
* The few genuine renounced in GHQ are nonetheless woman haters. They want to see no women around when they attend temple. Some may live there (while not disclosing to be GHQ member.) They become angry or agitated to see women interacting there, socializing, laughing, even getting extremely serious about spiritual life. (Incidentally, women can laugh and still be very serious spiritually.) Such men often want those women gone! Closing Brahmacarini Ashrama would solve that problem for them. However, what did Prabhupada say? That if they do not even want to see the presence of women or else they become agitated, "then they should go to China or the forest."
Srimad Bhagavatam 6. 18. 41 Purport:
"Sometimes our Krishna Consciousness movement is criticized for mingling of men and women, but Krishna Consciousness is meant for everyone. ..... We therefore request all the members of the Krishna Consciousness -- both men and women -- not be attracted by bodily features but ONLY BE ATTRACTED TO KRISHNA. Then everything will be all right. Otherwise there will be danger."
* Reality! GHQ's envious that women can strictly follow rules & regs of celibacy when they can't (won't). Their promotion of woman as 9 times lustier (therefore should be with them), backfires when she has less trouble with celibacy compared to him. Makes it look achievable for any who try. That makes him look like he's not putting in the effort - because he's not! When Brahmacarini Ashrams are left open, his lack of celibacy reek in an obvious fashion. Difficult to hide 'unless' ashrams get closed. (Personally in this age I find women in the movement less lusty then men, but since GHQ are fanatics about everything they quote, we shall do the same back to them. Therefore if women can be celibate, why can't they?)
Srimad Bhagavatam 4. 26. 4 Purport:
"Those whose senses are very much uncontrolled especially try to hunt for many women."
Caitanya- caritamrta, Antya-lila 3.140-142
"The prostitute shaved her head clean in accordance with Vaisnava principles and stayed in that room wearing only one cloth. Following in the footsteps of her spiritual master, she began chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra 300,000 times a day. She chanted throughout the entire day and night. She worshiped the tulasi plant, following in the footsteps of her spiritual master. Instead of eating regularly, she chewed whatever food she received as alms, and if nothing was supplied she would fast. Thus by eating frugally, and fasting she conquered her senses, and as soon as her senses were controlled, symptoms of love of Godhead appeared in her person. Thus the prostitute became a celebrated devotee. She became very advanced in spiritual life, and many stalwart Vaisnavas would come to see her."
* GHQ opposition to Brahmacarini Ashramas & posting instead to train women as servants of men, they do for many reasons. However, Prabhupada did not opened these ashramas to teach women serve to man, he opened them to teach women service to Krishna. GHQ are envious of that. Then they try to make excuse since early day women were new with no Vedic training therefore brahmacarini ashrama was made for this temporary emergency. However, no where does Prabhupada say all this. The West is the West and GHQ are trying to get us do as India. Some in India practice correctly, but many practice caste system Hinduism. Extremely similar to GHQ desires.
Then they speak of "protection" but who is stopping them? A true protector doesn't need to complain around the net, they just do it. No, this is usually a 'code word' with a contradictory hidden meaning, misused to belittle, control, and terrorize women. Honest protection simply means if someone is at risk, you block the risk or run to the rescue, not blame the victim, & not glorify yourself as superior. Brahmacarini Ashrams will always be a necessity for that reason, & with most GHQ or nonGHQ misogynists themselves of western birth with backgrounds to bully women as normal, they have extreme difficulty giving Vaisnava form of protection.
Next they turn to extreme quotes from the books, often taken out of context or not applicable in this age, about women, marriage, living only with husband for protection. Their hypocrisy is, they do not meet up to what they read about men in scripture themselves.
They also can not find instructions to close Brahmacarini Ashrams & live in those ways in any letters Prabhupada wrote to married disciples, as he often gave instructions by letter. Then no official letters on letterhead of such a change to temple presidents either. Many GHQ have a real history of various forms of abuse. investigate their names if you doubt. Recognize they often do not consider it abuse, claim to be hitting or verbally abusing their wife out of maya. That's delusional or plain old bull. Look up abuse in qualified therapists book. Not only is it what they are doing, but they are not special & give same types of reasons karmis give to excuse away abuse. They just blame it on Prabhupada or Krsna.
We agree Prabhupada said it was artificial for women to be brahmacarini but ghq selective quoters leave it there. In this age many artificial provisions must be made because we live in an artificial modern yuga scripturally predicted to continue on the descend. Consequently Prabhupada said a great deal more than GHQ like, or want to surrender to, including if women can't find GOOD husband it's better she remain brahmacarini.
Prabhupada (speaking about Gurudasa's wife, Yamuna devi dasi)
"His wife has also sanyasi, renounced. Have you seen her? She has cut her hair, white dress, living alone in temple." Srila Prabhupada, London, Room conversation, 1976
Protection is automatically resolved for those in a Brahmacarini Ashramas, no need for ghq men when temples can do it. Until GHQ become like scripture saints they insist women become, or at least follow as 'strictly' as a pure devotee follows (there is no violence in strictness - something the less intelligent class of men have been unable to discern), then they don't deserve service like the superior souls of past yuga's. They will misuse too much power, as has all ready seen.
Possibly they're envious about benefits they read of saints in scripture, trying to gain same without renouncing material desires, or adequately undergoing the purification process. Yet they have no reason to balk since they know the process to attain pure devotee status. Why they don't use it but instead try to change entire world to circumambulate around 'their' way of thinking? Bizarre.
Last, some women express worries how to be good wife. Solution: Don't waste time reading prejudicial out-of-context quotes from GHQ sites. Instead read letters written by Srila Prabhupada to his disciples here or anywhere.
Caitanya Caritamrta, Madhya-lila 15.264, P:
"'One cannot be a husband if he cannot liberate his dependentsfrom inevitable death.' If a person is not in Krsna consciousnessand is bereft of spiritual power, he cannot protect his wife from the path of repeated birth and death. Consequently such a person cannot be accepted as a husband. A wife should dedicate her life and everything to Krsna for further advancement in Krsna consciousness.If her husband abandons Krsna consciousness and she gives up her connection with him, she follows in the footsteps of the dvija-patnis, the wives of the brahmanas who were engaged in performing sacrifices. The wife is not to be condemned for cutting off such a relationship."
* Once found some posts where GHQ carried on glories of "bodily fluids" (discharge). Furthermore because they carry the soul, insisting this makes him superior. (And we thought superiority was evaluated by qualification, what were we thinking? LOL) A mataji replied, they may carry the soul, but without house for the soul (woman's egg) there's still no baby. GHQ sex addict guy became angry to hear there'd be no glorification of male discharge. Fact: both need each other equally to produce a child. Their splendor over fluids lead them down a strange path, one of preaching many women must marry & service them whenever he feel lust, so he does not "waste" his fluids. Another reason they claim, for polygamy. However they took celibacy vows & know the science to avoid the rise of lust. If they are "allowing" themselves to get all worked up, it is not the responsibility of countless woman to marry & service them. It's his responsibility to maintain vows, follow the OUTLINES PROCESS, & stop getting excited. If there's medical problems, see a doctor. Preaching to close Brahmacarini Ashrams can include hopes those brahmacarini's will resolve this "release with no waste" problem they have. ....Good luck on that. Most woman who joined are serious. Returning themselves to Krishna is enough & do not want to take on GHQ men problems, karmic luggage. As women are capable of doing, it's suggested such men step up & accept responsibility for their problems as an adult.
Bhagavad gita as it is 2:62-63:
"While contemplating the object of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment lust develops, and from lust anger arises. From anger complete delusion arises, and from delusion bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost one falls down again into the material pool."
Krishna Book (Bhagvatam 10th canto), Ch 59, Talks Between Krishna and Rukmini:
"A man within the material world is just like a dead body. In fact, superficially, the living entity is covered by this body, which is nothing but a bag of skin decorated with a beard and mustache, hairs on the body, nails on the fingers, and hairs on the head. Within this decorated bag are bunches of muscles, bundles of bones, and pools of blood. always mixed with stool, urine, mucous, bile and polluted air and enjoyed by different kinds of insects and germs. A foolish woman accepts such a dead body as her husband and, in sheer misunderstanding, loves him as her dear companion. This is possible only because such a woman has never tasted the ever-blissful flavor of Your lotus feet."
* POWER. The GHQ wants power over all those woman in Brahmacarini Ashrama they currently do not have power to control. They may see these woman at temple, become attracted (which angers them since they can't have her), disapprove of something she said, did, the way she looked or did not look, the color she wears, and other nit picky fault findings. However, since she is not under his roof but under the protection of the temple, he has no power over her. Such misogynists hate the feeling of having no power. They're power addicts. To see woman doing things 'they' disapprove of drives them crazy. Similarly, even brahmacarini's they are not attracted to, ghq believe they've the right to think about & judge.
SP letter to Caitanya Dasi, Los Angeles, 25 April, 1973
"I have studied your situation carefully and I encourage you to liveIN THE TEMPLE in the association of fixed up devotees who are following my teachings strictly. If your husband cannot follow our principles properly, you are not to think that you should let that hamper your spiritual life. You should STAY WITH US and cultivate spiritual life peacefully under Krishna's protection and care. If heis not interested in spiritual life, let him do as he pleases. I have given all of my disciple instructions to follow for making spiritual advancement, but if they do not have the desire to follow, then what can I do? Anyone who is unwilling to follow our REGULATIVE PRINCIPLES, you should not live or associate closely with such a person."
* Ghq wants to CHANGE Prabhupada Movement from his method, to THEIR (caste system) method - under false pretenses of following him. Double talking, twisting truth as GHQ does NOT want to execute Srila Prabhupada’s strict rules & regulations, they do not want to follow many other instructions he gave either. What they want to execute is change to the entire movement so they can "look" pure, 'appear' superior, without doing what's essential to be worthy of it. Even male devotees must surrender to GHQ way of life. But there’s is not Prabhupada's way of life, not Prabhupada's instructions, so talk all they want about closing brahmacarini asrhramas, there is not one official letter of proof Prabhupada wanted to make this change. They want it, that's all.
Srimad Bhagavatam 5.14.35:
"Unless one is firmly fixed in the regulative principles, one may perform mischievous acts, even if one is a member of the Krsna consciousness movement. We THEREFORE advise our disciples to strictly follow the regulative principles; otherwise the most important movement for the upliftment of humanity will be hampered due to dissension among its members. Those who are serious about pushing forward this Krsna consciousness movement should remember this and strictly follow the regulative principles so that their minds will not be disturbed."
* They've no desire to amend their life which incorporates maya & contradictions to the outlined lifestyle Prabhupada instructed for disciples. GHQ don't distribute his books, don't allow their wives to distribute books, they want to shut down the safe place (Brahmacarini Asrhamas) Prabhupada gave women. Most ghq don't follow Morning or Evening Programs, we wonder if they chant 16 rounds daily, yet insist they're gurupati. Prabhupada never used that term in any letter calling any modern day disciple a gurupati. They're wanting to increase sex life through polygamy, mostly with underage virgin pretty girls. Bodily concept, not elevated consciousness. Then have the nerve to say they're simply trying to increase morality or give protection? What’s next for these cheaters? It's their karma, let them live it out. However we wish to make clear, they shall not ruin Prabhupada's name through THIS blogger!
He does "not" validate those enjoyments, unkindness, or powers, GHQ claim he does. Outrageous to blame their spiteful propensities on him. They twist & turn it & take out of context for the purpose of pleasing their senses and ego's. No feelings of guilt or shame for wrong-doings to others, but anger & egotistical if told they're doing something wrong.
SP Evening Conversation, Aug 76, Tehran:
“So this life should be utilized for purifying ourself from this designation. If you keep the designation then there is NO POSSIBIITY OF PURIFICATION. You'll get another designation. Now we are Indian or Iranian, next a sparrow or a crow or a tree or a demigod. Another designation. Just like the same, the child, a baby, on the lap of the mother, a baby, and another designation, boy, another designation young man, another designation, old man. But the spirit soul is the same. He's simply changing designations. So freedom means freedom from all these designations."
SP Letter to: Abhirama - Bombay 16 January, 1975 :
"Upon your recommendation I am initiating the following disciples. You must
see that they strictly follow the regulative principles, the four prohibitions as well as the devotional practices of arising early, taking morning bath, putting on tilaka, attending mangal arati, chanting japa 16 rounds, and attending Srimmad Bhagavatam class. This is the duty of all my initiated disciples, whether they are big or they are small. Actually in our movement there is no such thing as big or small. Everyone is a devotee. So everyone is expected to follow the devotional practices. Here in Vrindaban I am enjoying my disciples how they are speaking. So two times daily everyone must attend the classes. During the morning and evening times, there should be no busies, simply kirtana, chant, dance, and be purified. Do not be paramahamsa that now I haven't got to hear Srimad-Bhagavatam and Bnagavad-grta. Don't be a better paramaharnsa than your Guru Maharaja. I go and sit and I enjoy the lectures and how they are performing kirrtana. So as I am doing, you must also do."
Their key enthusiasm is women, sex, control, egotism, & power-over others. GHQ will continue to grow because some men want to imagine returning to Krishna without undergoing the unchanged and uncontaminated process of purification. They want to blame their inability to get along with women - on the women as lowly - yet he remains impure, insisting he's indisputable authority. They desire to rape wife - then after death wanting association of Radharani. They want acceptable, their hot tempers to fly unchallenged - then move into peaceful Goloka community. They want to own and treat women as slaves, yet 'juggle' their words as if freedom fighters. They want to marry then sex-up 11 or 12 year old female, then return to the Lords pure abode of many gopi girls. There are endless men who want to cheat and be cheated, without admitting. GHQ society will attract many who think alike, it will flourish.
Srimad Bhagavatam 6.7.14, P:
"We, the conditioned souls, have fallen in the ocean of nescience, but the human body fortunately provides us a good opportunity to cross theocean because the human body is like a very good boat. When directed by a spiritual master acting as the captain, the boat can very easily cross the ocean. Furthermore, the boat is helped across by favorable winds, which are the instructions of Vedic knowledge. If one does not take advantage of all these facilities to cross the ocean of nescience, he is certainly committing suicide. One who boards a boat made of stone is doomed. To be elevated to the stage of perfection, humanity must first give up false leaders who present boats of stone."
SB 7.5.23-24, Vrndavana, March 31, 1976:
"So long we shall think that "I am American," "I am Indian,""I am African," there is NO possibility of advancement in Krsna consciousness. This teaching we have got from the greatest authority, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He said that "I am not a brahmana; I am not a ksatriya; I am not a vaisya; I am not a sudra; neither I am a brahmacari or grhastha, vanaprastha, sannyasa. I am simply servant of the servant of the servant of Krsna." Gopi-bhartur pada-kamalayor dasa-dasa- dasanudasah. So the more we advance in the matter of becoming designationless, no designation"
We thank the GHQ. Women now know to avoid marrying any man who is member or supportive. ASK them if they're a member. They might lie, but only a fool would try to marry a woman they're a poor match with and thinks differently, as it will only end up in chaos. Any misogynist who is fool enough to try this, should also recognize it may not work, that even if they don't like it and preach heavily, they may still end up divorced - or arrested. Karmic reactions.
Krsna Book, chapter 29:
"My dear Friend, if you desire to enjoy the company of material society, friendship and love, then please do not go to see this smiling boy Govinda, who is standing on the bank of the Yamuna and playing His flute, His lips brightened by the beams of the full moonlight."
Some men with psychological problems or emotional problems refusing help, are very drawn to GHQ organization.
There is he who thought himself a nerd, could not get a girl in high-school. After becoming devotee and read behaviors of women from ancient times, thinks all he had to do was join and that automatically qualified him. Now he expects women must turn to him, be grateful to him, do whatever he says. He will punish her based on his past experiences with women. This is an emotional problem, not spiritual protection or morality.
Similarly on the other extreme of the spectrum is the Golden Boy. Handsome man who women flocked to in youth. He then joined the Hare Krishna movement and discovered not enough women showed interest in him. Certainly not the more dedicated ones. How shocking it must have been to once be the center, only to find serious devotee women would not be with him merely based on his looks. He would in fact have to qualify himself, and doesn't want to. This is a different type of emotional problem, but just as grave. That type of entitlement can extensively block spiritual evolution.
Then there is the drug addict or alcoholic. Many even renounced it but have maintained an Addictive Personality. (Some have not renounced it.) The abusive and bizarre behaviors of this category of men are too many and to complex to describe. They're very much on the mental platform, can think up excuses for everything, angles around many forms of responsibility, & accountability. Its forever someone else’s fault. With much anger to boot.
Next consider the man who as a child, watched as father was cruel to mother. He thinks this be normal, wonders what all the fuss is about, expecting one and all to get over it. In truth he needs someone to show him the way out of darkness of ignorance, that it is wrong for husband to even verbally abuse wife.
Subsequently, in rare instances sometimes the mother was the cruel parent. (We are honest that it happens, although satirists show its considerably lesser). In that situation the boy grew up to hate and distrust women. He's going to get them before they get him. Now punishing wife for what others did to him in childhood. Men too vain to accept professional help for problems have set themselves up for ultimate misery. If nothing else, the karma for harming a Vaisnava goes deep.
Polygamy, sex, power, is so attractive to rascals and thieves who hold tight the desire to remain rascals and thieves. Stealing away the souls of many, including cheating their own, we hope they enjoy this life because we have not much hope for them in their next. The sincere will look to Prabhupada instead of the GHQ organizations imbalanced understandings of him.
Srimad Bhagavatam 2.10.41:
"If one is in good association he can develop the mode of goodness, and if in bad association he may develop the mode of darkness or ignorance. Nothing is stereotyped. One can change his habit by good or bad association, and one has to become intelligent enough to discriminate between good and bad. "
To add the concept of unconditional marriage or no divorce. Srila Prabhupada has said the following: “There is no question of separation. Because divorce, separation, these are meant for sense gratification. As soon as there is some lack of sense gratification, there is immediately divorce or separation. No. Here there is no such question."
GHQ or supporters, hold on to your hats, we agree. Astonished? When misogynists beat us, deny our medical health care, when they act like karmis or criminals, this reveal THEY'VE some lack of sense gratification in the marriage. Consideri abusers think different from regular men, as they feel pleasure, sense gratification, by mistreating others, then that is their next recourse. Along with increases of control through this mechanism of abuse. They may make woman do the dirty work of getting the divorce, but in his mind he divorced her long ago. Accordingly justifies his desire for polygamy. He should have 'manned up' and learned how to be a good husband, Vaisnava husband, not Hindu husband. Grow up & take some responsibility, stop blaming all that goes wrong, on wife. What cowards that they can't accept they have faults which contributed. The way to fix things, first get honest & own up. To expect wife to live as is in India when husband acts like karmi westerner will simply damage her spiritual life. How shall she keep vows to her real spiritual master? How shall she go back to spiritual world if he can not act like a Vaisnava husband we read in scriptures (it works both ways) or at least no less than the standard of strict following of disciple as instructed by Srila Prabhupada? In that strict following Prabhupada called his disciples pure devotees only based on the fact they were going thru the steps without deviation. The moment they deviate and want sex, polygamy, willing to put womens soul at risk so he never has to admit his maya, everything changes.
Srimad Bhagavatam 4.26.17 P:
"King Puranjana left home, neglected his own wife and engaged himself in killing animals. This is the position of all materialistic men. They do not care for a married chaste wife. They take the wife only as an instrument for sense enjoyment, not as a means for devotional service. To have unrestricted sex life, the karmis work very hard. They have concluded that the best course is to have sex with any woman and simply pay the price for her, as though she were a mercantile commodity. Thus they engage their energy in working very hard for such material acquisitions. Such materialistic people have lost their good intelligence. They must search out their intelligence within the heart."
- Sri Isopanisad, 1, Purport: "One should become a perfect gentleman and learn to give proper respect to others."
What class of warped individual would read this Sri Isopanisad verse,
then tell himself its even satisfactory Vaishnava demeanor to slur or strike his devotee wife, children, anybody at all? In what strange ways do their minds work? Then surprised divorce follows, with the audacity to blame wife who would not continue living in bad association of his nondevotional abusive nature?!
Indubitably, GHQ will gain high numbers of members, because their type of organization attracts all kinds who reject Prabhupada's purification process but want to pretend they are not rejecting. There's specific rules for "disciple." No one can change them their selves, no one can pretend to be following when they have modified it to meet personal desires. A genuine disciple surrenders to guru and holds true to vows without searching out loopholes. Loopholes are exactly that, and such angling will not return one to Vaikuntha.
Srimad Bhagavatam 1974 Lecture:
"There is NO competition. Every word is for the good of human society.Every word, each and every word. Therefore we stress so much in thebook distribution. Somehow or another, if the book goes in one hand,he will be benefited. At least he will see, 'Oh, they have taken somuch price. Let me see what is there.' If he reads one sloka, his lifewill be successful."
They may have become accustomed to cheating wife and getting away with it, but they can't cheat God.
Therefore, those who are envious over women spiritual advancement, those who waste time in competition with women,those addicted to sex and power, those with psychological - emotional - addictive problems but reject medical or therapeutic intervention, those who are puffed-up and apply false humility, those treating women like a plague (repulsion) or desire polygamy (attraction), those who play mind games and manipulate, those who maintain hate in their heart toward women, those who put themselves up on exalted platforms they don't deserve - but desire, and "especially" those who want to change from Prabhupada's established methods to their own concocted methods, or blame their sins on him, these persons are in spiritual jeopardy of which only they can pull themselves out.
The attempt to dismantle the Brahmacarini Ashrams opened by Prabhupada are yet another piece of the puzzle to add to all of GHQ's less fortunate qualities, qualities they embrace.
Bhagavad gita as it is 2. 62 Purport:
"The senses require real engagements, and if they are not engaged in the transcendental loving service of the Lord, they will certainly seek engagement in the service of materialism. In the material world everyone, including Lord Siva and Lord Brahma--to say nothing of other demigods in the heavenly planets--is subjected to the influence of sense objects, and the only method to get out of this puzzle of material existence is to become Krsna conscious. Lord Siva was deep in meditation, but when Parvati agitated him for sense pleasure, he agreed to the proposal, and as a result Kartikeya was born. When Haridasa Thakura was a young devotee of the Lord, he was similarly allured by the incarnation of Maya-devi, but Haridasa easily passed the test because of his unalloyed devotion to Lord Krsna."
Caitanya Caritamrita, Madhya Lila, 15.264:
"Inform my daughter Sathi to abandon her relationship with her husbandbecause he has fallen down. When the husband falls down, it is thewife's duty to relinquish the relationship."
* Here's a secret. GHQ is not trying to practice high level Krishna Consciousness, they’re practitioners of Varnashrama Dharma: that's DIFFERENT. While these "can be similar, they can also be dissimilar. Most in India practice Varnashrama Dharma whether they worship Krishna as God, Siva, the Universe, Demigods, are Impersonalists or Mayavadi's. It can also be used in Krishna Consciousness as steps up a ladder, but Krishna Consciousness is higher.
(Speaking of Varnashrama Dharma Lord Caitanya said) "This is external. Say something better.' So in this way Ramananda Raya was putting some better proposal than varnashrama-dharma." Srimad Bhagavatam Lecture, 1972.
GHQ quote Prabhupada more from instructions on Varnashrama Dharma than Krishna consciousness, sometimes omitting full quote, which would reveal their truthfully citing about women from Varnashrama Dharma. Learn how to discern that for yourself, because Prabhupada often speaks differently about Varnashrama, since it is different, than he does about superior Krishna consciousness, exempt from bodily glorification's. Misogynists will always fight against those who want to practice only the higher forms of Krishna consciousness because it makes them look inferior, revealing their true desires. They rather try to sneak their social and moral and marriage issues in as if its Krishna consciousness, even when quoting Dharma of Varna's and Ashramas. Social, moral and other issues are automatically taken care of in Krishna consciousness.
"The system of varnashrama-dharma is more or less based on moral principles. There is very little realization of the Transcendence as such, and Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu rejected it as superficial and asked Ramananda Raya to go further into the matter." Srimad Bhagavatam, Introduction.
There are other times GHQ will acknowledge its Varnashrama Dharma, next will also try to claim its what Prabhupada wanted or the same as Krishna consciousness. Don’t be a blind believer, look it up. Honesty is not their best quality. When Prabhupada spoke of Varnashrama Dharma, here is what HE wanted:
"The social institution known as varnasrama-dharma--the institution dividing society into four divisions of social life and four occupational divisions of caste--is not meant to divide human society according to birth. Such divisions are in terms of educational qualifications. " Bhagavad Gita 16:1 - 3, Purport
GHQ and nonGHQ misogynists only want Varnashrama Dharma based on male superiority, women as less intelligent, men are gurupati, blacks latinos & women disallowed education & kept down. Principally the bodily concept, while others must agree and surrender to remain ignorant in blind following to these higher birth men. Precise opposite of what Prabhupada instructed.
"He may be a man, he may be a woman, he may be a sudra, he may be abrahmana or he may be black or he may be white. Everyone can approachto the highest platform of devotional service. It is open field." ~ SPLecture on Srimad-Bhagavatam. Montreal, 19 August 1968
More of what GHQ doesn't want you to know:
They want only to practice Varnashrama Dharma "because" within it (or their idea of it) they can have polygamy, but no polygamy in pure Krishna consciousness. Only in Varnashrama Dharma they are mechanically superior because of male body parts, in Krishna consciousness it is by qualification. In Varnashrama Dharma the wife's not to get job but to stay home & serve husband. Whereas Bibhavati devi dasi asked Prabhupada: "Should I live like in the Vedic times, and simply serve my husband and child?" He replied: "No, you have a talent as a writer, you should write articles for newspapers and propagate Krishna Consciousness." In Varnashrama Dharma husband will prohibit wife going out of house & onto the streets for Sankirtan book distribution. Exact opposite is in Krishna consciousness, with the importance of following spiritual masters instruction to push forward Prabhuapda and Lord Caitanya's movement. That takes center stage.
"Now you have a very nice wife, Kancanbala, so my request to both of you is that you work combinedly to push on this Sankirtana Movement of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. This will bring perfection to your lives, as more and more you become attached to the Lotus Feet of Krishna. Persons under the grip of Maya are simply mad after sense enjoyment, but our goal is to lose all desire for sense gratification and become simply mad after Krishna." SP letter to Madhusudana das, Tittenhurst, September 19, 1969
"Regarding your questions about Sankirtana Party, I think you should try to always have Sankirtana going on. All other things are subsidiary. This chanting is our life and soul, so we must arrange our program now so that there will be as much chanting on the streets and at college engagements as possible." SP letter to Satsvarupa, Columbus, Ohio, May 14, 1969
There may be some misunderstanding because of a few, though just a few, places Prabhupada said to want Varnashrama, but misogynists omit the fact he stressed it for the people. The initiate is to keep strict vows and lifestyle. Fallen (and stubborn) devotee who won't keep vows are also allowed Varnashrama dharma but they try to say they are superior, consequently we are pointing out the difference.
However, there's a different type of Varnashrama Dharma, one GHQ do not promote, because it does not give them massive authority or sense gratification. This is referred to as "Daivi" Varanashrama Dharma - only one wife. They can't stand that one, might actually have to control themselves or limit to one woman. They take great power in the fact they are male, little need to purify or qualify, just need to be male. In truth this does not make them superior, as they are but spirit soul like everyone else.
Now an honest initiated disciple who is strong enough to maintain vows and right thinking, if drawn to Varnashrama dharma, can become part of Daivi Varnashrama Dharma. However, they can not allow themselves to be easily mislead or tempted to fall into the caste system method. To be very fixed up is required for such an initiate. Too often those overly attached to Varnashrama Dharma aren't that interested in Daivi, or still think of themselves as superior merely by birth.
"Regarding your taking a second wife, you cannot do this. At least you cannot stay in our temple in Vrndaban. If you want to take a second wife, then you have to leave our Vrndaban temple. Whether you can maintain them and take some job and earn? Our temples cannot support you and your two wives. You will want three, four and more. Anyway, as an American it is illegal for you to do this. We are trying to minimize sex and you are trying to increase. Please give up this idea." Srila Prabhupada Letter, 1975
"So we have to become designationless, no designation, sarvopadhi... "I am not Hindu. I am not Mussalman. I am not Christian. I am not brahmana." This is designation. Even sannyasi... Caitanya Mahaprabhu, therefore, naham vipro na ca nara-patir yatir va, He described Himself, "No, I am not ksatriya. I am not brahmana. I am not sannyasi. I am not grhastha. I am not vaisya." simply negation. He simply said, gopi-bhartuh pada-kamalayor dasa-dasanudasah: "I am the servant of servant of servant of the gopi-bhartuh, the maintainer of the gopis, Krsna." If GHQ are superior following Varnashrama Dharma [caste system], why are old men still with wife? Why they have not moved on to the next ashrama?
Still have householder responsibilities, with babies and children who need them? Hiding behind the skirts of women and diapers of children, who they might not treat so well, or know how to parent. Responsibly is misused as an word-juggling excuse to "continue searching” for co-wife’s. Never ending. Instead, superior devotees they be should easily be cable of stopping sex activities, then they won't have continuous babies to look after.
Sense gratification including but not limited to sexadd the importance to them to have power over others. To be facilitated to intimidate men who disagree with them as inferior to GHQ, the ability to scare women, using games of the mind, indulging in pleasures within the mind on the mental platform - impurities of thought - all sense gratification to certain men. Afraid to surrender their power to any authority like a temple president or some guy in the office even, although they could live outside & do temple service but this means they would have to surrender some of that false ego, and that they will not give up.
The regular devotee men advanced beyond GHQ and any misogynists. If they ever compared out in reality, they'd find out the hard way. Though they seldom would look into it honestly. However, their superiority? An attempt to overcompensate for their sinful desires which they insist the right to follow with actions, then name them 'spiritual.'
Forwarding it to a list of her godsisters which included me, I read only 1 or 2 paragraphs, immediately recognized it as GHQ propaganda. To double check I scrolled, changed topic, read more. Than was convinced it had to be ghq! Next looked for the authors name. Without a doubt, he is a member.
Although this was a link titled how to get "trained as a brahmacarini (priest)" that title was a LIE. It was a link how to get trained up to serve man - or you will go to hell, become a whore, if you don’t. Thus more GHQ polygamist deceit and trickery. An honest discussion they can not have, because they will be conquered.
Founder of GHQ fought with his own guru. Regularly. Fiercely. They'd actually break up. After time passed, he again would try to return to his guru, eventually to have another fight and disassociate. Then make up again, continuous went this cycle. If he can't even get along with his guru who he himself picked, does anyone believe he's going to get along with the many wives he desires, who he himself shall also pick? Other members can hardly be much different.
GHQ have gone out of their way to try to close all brahmacarini ashrams in every temple, even though this is fully against instructions of Srila Prabhupada!
Certain other topics discussed on this blog may have some appealingly contradictions or confusion (because Prabhupada expected initiates to actually become the pure devotees they vowed to become, but later he had to change instructions since they were not following to achieve that goal). However with Brahmacarini Ashramas, there is not one letter of such instructions to be found anywhere that Prabhupada wanted them closed. None. This is merely another GHQ twisting of Prabhupada's philosophy so they can exploit those in his Movement for their pleasures, which includes power.
SP letter to Satsvarupa Montreal, 8 August, 1968:
"That the Brahmacarini ashram is a good success is very good news. But the best thing will be if the grown-up Brahmacarinis get married. According to Vedic culture, woman is never to remain independent. I shall be glad if the Brahmacarinis can have nice husbands, and live as Grhasthas. But if they cannot find out GOOD husbands, it is BETTER to remain a Brahmacarini all the life, even though it is little difficult."
Hidden reasons GHQ want to shut down Brahmacarini Ashramas:
* GHQ desire sex with all those women living in the ashrama. Like candy just out of reach, they simply can't get at that candy, speculating if they closed down the asrhamas, then they could. No, even in the dearth of ashrams, spiritual women don't want these fallen men.
SPL, Melbourne, 10 February, 1973:
"First let us understand that polygamy cannot be permitted in our society. Legally it is impossible and neither are there many of our devotees who are prepared to assume the responsibility for many wives. Therefore as I have suggested previously as they do in Christian religion they have so many convent where the women stay and they receive protection."
GHQ might look at that in reverse. They tend to twist everything into reverse, if it serves them. Might say its evidence of Brahmacarini Ashrams are blocking polygamy & their desire to change the entire iskcon society, therefore want to close Brahamcarini Ashramas. However, that is going against Srila Prabhupada's instructions above, and elsewhere. They should stop reading in reverse, and surrender to the way things are all ready established by Srila Prabhupada.
Higher Instruction: "Matrvat para-daresu. To see every woman except his wife as mother.This is education. This is education, perfection of education, whenyou can see all women except your wife as mother." SP Lecture onBhagavad-gita. London, 21 July 1973
* Should woman not desire GHQ man, he does not take rejection well. Therefore is fine with him that she is not otherwise facilitated to become a devotee. (Opposite of Prabhupada's preaching mood, & his mood to make temples available for everyone.) Only if she marries ghq man as one of his co-wives, will he educate her about Krishna. By closing Brahmacarini Ashrams he hopes women will approach him as GURU.
Srila Prabhupada, June 18, 76, Toronto Interview w/ Prof's O'Connell, Motilal & Shivaram:
"In our material world, is it any prohibition that woman cannot become professor? If she is qualified, she can become professor. What is the wrong there? She must be qualified. That is the position. So similarly, if the woman understands Krsna consciousness perfectly, she can become guru."
Srila Prabhupada letter, 1969:
"yes woman can certainly reach the perfectional stage of devotion to Krishna."
* The few genuine renounced in GHQ are nonetheless woman haters. They want to see no women around when they attend temple. Some may live there (while not disclosing to be GHQ member.) They become angry or agitated to see women interacting there, socializing, laughing, even getting extremely serious about spiritual life. (Incidentally, women can laugh and still be very serious spiritually.) Such men often want those women gone! Closing Brahmacarini Ashrama would solve that problem for them. However, what did Prabhupada say? That if they do not even want to see the presence of women or else they become agitated, "then they should go to China or the forest."
Srimad Bhagavatam 6. 18. 41 Purport:
"Sometimes our Krishna Consciousness movement is criticized for mingling of men and women, but Krishna Consciousness is meant for everyone. ..... We therefore request all the members of the Krishna Consciousness -- both men and women -- not be attracted by bodily features but ONLY BE ATTRACTED TO KRISHNA. Then everything will be all right. Otherwise there will be danger."
* Reality! GHQ's envious that women can strictly follow rules & regs of celibacy when they can't (won't). Their promotion of woman as 9 times lustier (therefore should be with them), backfires when she has less trouble with celibacy compared to him. Makes it look achievable for any who try. That makes him look like he's not putting in the effort - because he's not! When Brahmacarini Ashrams are left open, his lack of celibacy reek in an obvious fashion. Difficult to hide 'unless' ashrams get closed. (Personally in this age I find women in the movement less lusty then men, but since GHQ are fanatics about everything they quote, we shall do the same back to them. Therefore if women can be celibate, why can't they?)
Srimad Bhagavatam 4. 26. 4 Purport:
"Those whose senses are very much uncontrolled especially try to hunt for many women."
Caitanya- caritamrta, Antya-lila 3.140-142
"The prostitute shaved her head clean in accordance with Vaisnava principles and stayed in that room wearing only one cloth. Following in the footsteps of her spiritual master, she began chanting the Hare Krsna maha-mantra 300,000 times a day. She chanted throughout the entire day and night. She worshiped the tulasi plant, following in the footsteps of her spiritual master. Instead of eating regularly, she chewed whatever food she received as alms, and if nothing was supplied she would fast. Thus by eating frugally, and fasting she conquered her senses, and as soon as her senses were controlled, symptoms of love of Godhead appeared in her person. Thus the prostitute became a celebrated devotee. She became very advanced in spiritual life, and many stalwart Vaisnavas would come to see her."
* GHQ opposition to Brahmacarini Ashramas & posting instead to train women as servants of men, they do for many reasons. However, Prabhupada did not opened these ashramas to teach women serve to man, he opened them to teach women service to Krishna. GHQ are envious of that. Then they try to make excuse since early day women were new with no Vedic training therefore brahmacarini ashrama was made for this temporary emergency. However, no where does Prabhupada say all this. The West is the West and GHQ are trying to get us do as India. Some in India practice correctly, but many practice caste system Hinduism. Extremely similar to GHQ desires.
Then they speak of "protection" but who is stopping them? A true protector doesn't need to complain around the net, they just do it. No, this is usually a 'code word' with a contradictory hidden meaning, misused to belittle, control, and terrorize women. Honest protection simply means if someone is at risk, you block the risk or run to the rescue, not blame the victim, & not glorify yourself as superior. Brahmacarini Ashrams will always be a necessity for that reason, & with most GHQ or nonGHQ misogynists themselves of western birth with backgrounds to bully women as normal, they have extreme difficulty giving Vaisnava form of protection.
Next they turn to extreme quotes from the books, often taken out of context or not applicable in this age, about women, marriage, living only with husband for protection. Their hypocrisy is, they do not meet up to what they read about men in scripture themselves.
They also can not find instructions to close Brahmacarini Ashrams & live in those ways in any letters Prabhupada wrote to married disciples, as he often gave instructions by letter. Then no official letters on letterhead of such a change to temple presidents either. Many GHQ have a real history of various forms of abuse. investigate their names if you doubt. Recognize they often do not consider it abuse, claim to be hitting or verbally abusing their wife out of maya. That's delusional or plain old bull. Look up abuse in qualified therapists book. Not only is it what they are doing, but they are not special & give same types of reasons karmis give to excuse away abuse. They just blame it on Prabhupada or Krsna.
We agree Prabhupada said it was artificial for women to be brahmacarini but ghq selective quoters leave it there. In this age many artificial provisions must be made because we live in an artificial modern yuga scripturally predicted to continue on the descend. Consequently Prabhupada said a great deal more than GHQ like, or want to surrender to, including if women can't find GOOD husband it's better she remain brahmacarini.

Protection is automatically resolved for those in a Brahmacarini Ashramas, no need for ghq men when temples can do it. Until GHQ become like scripture saints they insist women become, or at least follow as 'strictly' as a pure devotee follows (there is no violence in strictness - something the less intelligent class of men have been unable to discern), then they don't deserve service like the superior souls of past yuga's. They will misuse too much power, as has all ready seen.
Possibly they're envious about benefits they read of saints in scripture, trying to gain same without renouncing material desires, or adequately undergoing the purification process. Yet they have no reason to balk since they know the process to attain pure devotee status. Why they don't use it but instead try to change entire world to circumambulate around 'their' way of thinking? Bizarre.
Last, some women express worries how to be good wife. Solution: Don't waste time reading prejudicial out-of-context quotes from GHQ sites. Instead read letters written by Srila Prabhupada to his disciples here or anywhere.
Caitanya Caritamrta, Madhya-lila 15.264, P:
"'One cannot be a husband if he cannot liberate his dependentsfrom inevitable death.' If a person is not in Krsna consciousnessand is bereft of spiritual power, he cannot protect his wife from the path of repeated birth and death. Consequently such a person cannot be accepted as a husband. A wife should dedicate her life and everything to Krsna for further advancement in Krsna consciousness.If her husband abandons Krsna consciousness and she gives up her connection with him, she follows in the footsteps of the dvija-patnis, the wives of the brahmanas who were engaged in performing sacrifices. The wife is not to be condemned for cutting off such a relationship."
* Once found some posts where GHQ carried on glories of "bodily fluids" (discharge). Furthermore because they carry the soul, insisting this makes him superior. (And we thought superiority was evaluated by qualification, what were we thinking? LOL) A mataji replied, they may carry the soul, but without house for the soul (woman's egg) there's still no baby. GHQ sex addict guy became angry to hear there'd be no glorification of male discharge. Fact: both need each other equally to produce a child. Their splendor over fluids lead them down a strange path, one of preaching many women must marry & service them whenever he feel lust, so he does not "waste" his fluids. Another reason they claim, for polygamy. However they took celibacy vows & know the science to avoid the rise of lust. If they are "allowing" themselves to get all worked up, it is not the responsibility of countless woman to marry & service them. It's his responsibility to maintain vows, follow the OUTLINES PROCESS, & stop getting excited. If there's medical problems, see a doctor. Preaching to close Brahmacarini Ashrams can include hopes those brahmacarini's will resolve this "release with no waste" problem they have. ....Good luck on that. Most woman who joined are serious. Returning themselves to Krishna is enough & do not want to take on GHQ men problems, karmic luggage. As women are capable of doing, it's suggested such men step up & accept responsibility for their problems as an adult.
Bhagavad gita as it is 2:62-63:
"While contemplating the object of the senses, a person develops attachment for them, and from such attachment lust develops, and from lust anger arises. From anger complete delusion arises, and from delusion bewilderment of memory. When memory is bewildered, intelligence is lost, and when intelligence is lost one falls down again into the material pool."
Krishna Book (Bhagvatam 10th canto), Ch 59, Talks Between Krishna and Rukmini:
"A man within the material world is just like a dead body. In fact, superficially, the living entity is covered by this body, which is nothing but a bag of skin decorated with a beard and mustache, hairs on the body, nails on the fingers, and hairs on the head. Within this decorated bag are bunches of muscles, bundles of bones, and pools of blood. always mixed with stool, urine, mucous, bile and polluted air and enjoyed by different kinds of insects and germs. A foolish woman accepts such a dead body as her husband and, in sheer misunderstanding, loves him as her dear companion. This is possible only because such a woman has never tasted the ever-blissful flavor of Your lotus feet."
* POWER. The GHQ wants power over all those woman in Brahmacarini Ashrama they currently do not have power to control. They may see these woman at temple, become attracted (which angers them since they can't have her), disapprove of something she said, did, the way she looked or did not look, the color she wears, and other nit picky fault findings. However, since she is not under his roof but under the protection of the temple, he has no power over her. Such misogynists hate the feeling of having no power. They're power addicts. To see woman doing things 'they' disapprove of drives them crazy. Similarly, even brahmacarini's they are not attracted to, ghq believe they've the right to think about & judge.
SP letter to Caitanya Dasi, Los Angeles, 25 April, 1973
"I have studied your situation carefully and I encourage you to liveIN THE TEMPLE in the association of fixed up devotees who are following my teachings strictly. If your husband cannot follow our principles properly, you are not to think that you should let that hamper your spiritual life. You should STAY WITH US and cultivate spiritual life peacefully under Krishna's protection and care. If heis not interested in spiritual life, let him do as he pleases. I have given all of my disciple instructions to follow for making spiritual advancement, but if they do not have the desire to follow, then what can I do? Anyone who is unwilling to follow our REGULATIVE PRINCIPLES, you should not live or associate closely with such a person."
* Ghq wants to CHANGE Prabhupada Movement from his method, to THEIR (caste system) method - under false pretenses of following him. Double talking, twisting truth as GHQ does NOT want to execute Srila Prabhupada’s strict rules & regulations, they do not want to follow many other instructions he gave either. What they want to execute is change to the entire movement so they can "look" pure, 'appear' superior, without doing what's essential to be worthy of it. Even male devotees must surrender to GHQ way of life. But there’s is not Prabhupada's way of life, not Prabhupada's instructions, so talk all they want about closing brahmacarini asrhramas, there is not one official letter of proof Prabhupada wanted to make this change. Srimad Bhagavatam 5.14.35:
"Unless one is firmly fixed in the regulative principles, one may perform mischievous acts, even if one is a member of the Krsna consciousness movement. We THEREFORE advise our disciples to strictly follow the regulative principles; otherwise the most important movement for the upliftment of humanity will be hampered due to dissension among its members. Those who are serious about pushing forward this Krsna consciousness movement should remember this and strictly follow the regulative principles so that their minds will not be disturbed."
* They've no desire to amend their life which incorporates maya & contradictions to the outlined lifestyle Prabhupada instructed for disciples. GHQ don't distribute his books, don't allow their wives to distribute books, they want to shut down the safe place (Brahmacarini Asrhamas) Prabhupada gave women. Most ghq don't follow Morning or Evening Programs, we wonder if they chant 16 rounds daily, yet insist they're gurupati. Prabhupada never used that term in any letter calling any modern day disciple a gurupati. They're wanting to increase sex life through polygamy, mostly with underage virgin pretty girls. Bodily concept, not elevated consciousness. Then have the nerve to say they're simply trying to increase morality or give protection? What’s next for these cheaters? It's their karma, let them live it out. However we wish to make clear, they shall not ruin Prabhupada's name through THIS blogger!
He does "not" validate those enjoyments, unkindness, or powers, GHQ claim he does. Outrageous to blame their spiteful propensities on him. They twist & turn it & take out of context for the purpose of pleasing their senses and ego's. No feelings of guilt or shame for wrong-doings to others, but anger & egotistical if told they're doing something wrong.
SP Evening Conversation, Aug 76, Tehran:
“So this life should be utilized for purifying ourself from this designation. If you keep the designation then there is NO POSSIBIITY OF PURIFICATION. You'll get another designation. Now we are Indian or Iranian, next a sparrow or a crow or a tree or a demigod. Another designation. Just like the same, the child, a baby, on the lap of the mother, a baby, and another designation, boy, another designation young man, another designation, old man. But the spirit soul is the same. He's simply changing designations. So freedom means freedom from all these designations."
SP Letter to: Abhirama - Bombay 16 January, 1975 :
"Upon your recommendation I am initiating the following disciples. You must
see that they strictly follow the regulative principles, the four prohibitions as well as the devotional practices of arising early, taking morning bath, putting on tilaka, attending mangal arati, chanting japa 16 rounds, and attending Srimmad Bhagavatam class. This is the duty of all my initiated disciples, whether they are big or they are small. Actually in our movement there is no such thing as big or small. Everyone is a devotee. So everyone is expected to follow the devotional practices. Here in Vrindaban I am enjoying my disciples how they are speaking. So two times daily everyone must attend the classes. During the morning and evening times, there should be no busies, simply kirtana, chant, dance, and be purified. Do not be paramahamsa that now I haven't got to hear Srimad-Bhagavatam and Bnagavad-grta. Don't be a better paramaharnsa than your Guru Maharaja. I go and sit and I enjoy the lectures and how they are performing kirrtana. So as I am doing, you must also do."
Their key enthusiasm is women, sex, control, egotism, & power-over others. GHQ will continue to grow because some men want to imagine returning to Krishna without undergoing the unchanged and uncontaminated process of purification. They want to blame their inability to get along with women - on the women as lowly - yet he remains impure, insisting he's indisputable authority. They desire to rape wife - then after death wanting association of Radharani. They want acceptable, their hot tempers to fly unchallenged - then move into peaceful Goloka community. They want to own and treat women as slaves, yet 'juggle' their words as if freedom fighters. They want to marry then sex-up 11 or 12 year old female, then return to the Lords pure abode of many gopi girls. There are endless men who want to cheat and be cheated, without admitting. GHQ society will attract many who think alike, it will flourish.
Srimad Bhagavatam 6.7.14, P:
"We, the conditioned souls, have fallen in the ocean of nescience, but the human body fortunately provides us a good opportunity to cross theocean because the human body is like a very good boat. When directed by a spiritual master acting as the captain, the boat can very easily cross the ocean. Furthermore, the boat is helped across by favorable winds, which are the instructions of Vedic knowledge. If one does not take advantage of all these facilities to cross the ocean of nescience, he is certainly committing suicide. One who boards a boat made of stone is doomed. To be elevated to the stage of perfection, humanity must first give up false leaders who present boats of stone."
SB 7.5.23-24, Vrndavana, March 31, 1976:
"So long we shall think that "I am American," "I am Indian,""I am African," there is NO possibility of advancement in Krsna consciousness. This teaching we have got from the greatest authority, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. He said that "I am not a brahmana; I am not a ksatriya; I am not a vaisya; I am not a sudra; neither I am a brahmacari or grhastha, vanaprastha, sannyasa. I am simply servant of the servant of the servant of Krsna." Gopi-bhartur pada-kamalayor dasa-dasa- dasanudasah. So the more we advance in the matter of becoming designationless, no designation"
We thank the GHQ. Women now know to avoid marrying any man who is member or supportive. ASK them if they're a member. They might lie, but only a fool would try to marry a woman they're a poor match with and thinks differently, as it will only end up in chaos. Any misogynist who is fool enough to try this, should also recognize it may not work, that even if they don't like it and preach heavily, they may still end up divorced - or arrested. Karmic reactions.
Krsna Book, chapter 29:
"My dear Friend, if you desire to enjoy the company of material society, friendship and love, then please do not go to see this smiling boy Govinda, who is standing on the bank of the Yamuna and playing His flute, His lips brightened by the beams of the full moonlight."
Some men with psychological problems or emotional problems refusing help, are very drawn to GHQ organization.
There is he who thought himself a nerd, could not get a girl in high-school. After becoming devotee and read behaviors of women from ancient times, thinks all he had to do was join and that automatically qualified him. Now he expects women must turn to him, be grateful to him, do whatever he says. He will punish her based on his past experiences with women. This is an emotional problem, not spiritual protection or morality.
Similarly on the other extreme of the spectrum is the Golden Boy. Handsome man who women flocked to in youth. He then joined the Hare Krishna movement and discovered not enough women showed interest in him. Certainly not the more dedicated ones. How shocking it must have been to once be the center, only to find serious devotee women would not be with him merely based on his looks. He would in fact have to qualify himself, and doesn't want to. This is a different type of emotional problem, but just as grave. That type of entitlement can extensively block spiritual evolution.
Then there is the drug addict or alcoholic. Many even renounced it but have maintained an Addictive Personality. (Some have not renounced it.) The abusive and bizarre behaviors of this category of men are too many and to complex to describe. They're very much on the mental platform, can think up excuses for everything, angles around many forms of responsibility, & accountability. Its forever someone else’s fault. With much anger to boot.
Next consider the man who as a child, watched as father was cruel to mother. He thinks this be normal, wonders what all the fuss is about, expecting one and all to get over it. In truth he needs someone to show him the way out of darkness of ignorance, that it is wrong for husband to even verbally abuse wife.
Subsequently, in rare instances sometimes the mother was the cruel parent. (We are honest that it happens, although satirists show its considerably lesser). In that situation the boy grew up to hate and distrust women. He's going to get them before they get him. Now punishing wife for what others did to him in childhood. Men too vain to accept professional help for problems have set themselves up for ultimate misery. If nothing else, the karma for harming a Vaisnava goes deep.
Polygamy, sex, power, is so attractive to rascals and thieves who hold tight the desire to remain rascals and thieves. Stealing away the souls of many, including cheating their own, we hope they enjoy this life because we have not much hope for them in their next. The sincere will look to Prabhupada instead of the GHQ organizations imbalanced understandings of him.
Srimad Bhagavatam 2.10.41:
"If one is in good association he can develop the mode of goodness, and if in bad association he may develop the mode of darkness or ignorance. Nothing is stereotyped. One can change his habit by good or bad association, and one has to become intelligent enough to discriminate between good and bad. "
To add the concept of unconditional marriage or no divorce. Srila Prabhupada has said the following: “There is no question of separation. Because divorce, separation, these are meant for sense gratification. As soon as there is some lack of sense gratification, there is immediately divorce or separation. No. Here there is no such question."
GHQ or supporters, hold on to your hats, we agree. Astonished? When misogynists beat us, deny our medical health care, when they act like karmis or criminals, this reveal THEY'VE some lack of sense gratification in the marriage. Consideri abusers think different from regular men, as they feel pleasure, sense gratification, by mistreating others, then that is their next recourse. Along with increases of control through this mechanism of abuse. They may make woman do the dirty work of getting the divorce, but in his mind he divorced her long ago. Accordingly justifies his desire for polygamy. He should have 'manned up' and learned how to be a good husband, Vaisnava husband, not Hindu husband. Grow up & take some responsibility, stop blaming all that goes wrong, on wife. What cowards that they can't accept they have faults which contributed. The way to fix things, first get honest & own up. To expect wife to live as is in India when husband acts like karmi westerner will simply damage her spiritual life. How shall she keep vows to her real spiritual master? How shall she go back to spiritual world if he can not act like a Vaisnava husband we read in scriptures (it works both ways) or at least no less than the standard of strict following of disciple as instructed by Srila Prabhupada? In that strict following Prabhupada called his disciples pure devotees only based on the fact they were going thru the steps without deviation. The moment they deviate and want sex, polygamy, willing to put womens soul at risk so he never has to admit his maya, everything changes.
Srimad Bhagavatam 4.26.17 P:
"King Puranjana left home, neglected his own wife and engaged himself in killing animals. This is the position of all materialistic men. They do not care for a married chaste wife. They take the wife only as an instrument for sense enjoyment, not as a means for devotional service. To have unrestricted sex life, the karmis work very hard. They have concluded that the best course is to have sex with any woman and simply pay the price for her, as though she were a mercantile commodity. Thus they engage their energy in working very hard for such material acquisitions. Such materialistic people have lost their good intelligence. They must search out their intelligence within the heart."
- Sri Isopanisad, 1, Purport: "One should become a perfect gentleman and learn to give proper respect to others."
What class of warped individual would read this Sri Isopanisad verse,
then tell himself its even satisfactory Vaishnava demeanor to slur or strike his devotee wife, children, anybody at all? In what strange ways do their minds work? Then surprised divorce follows, with the audacity to blame wife who would not continue living in bad association of his nondevotional abusive nature?!
Indubitably, GHQ will gain high numbers of members, because their type of organization attracts all kinds who reject Prabhupada's purification process but want to pretend they are not rejecting. There's specific rules for "disciple." No one can change them their selves, no one can pretend to be following when they have modified it to meet personal desires. A genuine disciple surrenders to guru and holds true to vows without searching out loopholes. Loopholes are exactly that, and such angling will not return one to Vaikuntha.
Srimad Bhagavatam 1974 Lecture:
"There is NO competition. Every word is for the good of human society.Every word, each and every word. Therefore we stress so much in thebook distribution. Somehow or another, if the book goes in one hand,he will be benefited. At least he will see, 'Oh, they have taken somuch price. Let me see what is there.' If he reads one sloka, his lifewill be successful."
They may have become accustomed to cheating wife and getting away with it, but they can't cheat God.
Therefore, those who are envious over women spiritual advancement, those who waste time in competition with women,those addicted to sex and power, those with psychological - emotional - addictive problems but reject medical or therapeutic intervention, those who are puffed-up and apply false humility, those treating women like a plague (repulsion) or desire polygamy (attraction), those who play mind games and manipulate, those who maintain hate in their heart toward women, those who put themselves up on exalted platforms they don't deserve - but desire, and "especially" those who want to change from Prabhupada's established methods to their own concocted methods, or blame their sins on him, these persons are in spiritual jeopardy of which only they can pull themselves out.
The attempt to dismantle the Brahmacarini Ashrams opened by Prabhupada are yet another piece of the puzzle to add to all of GHQ's less fortunate qualities, qualities they embrace.
Bhagavad gita as it is 2. 62 Purport:
"The senses require real engagements, and if they are not engaged in the transcendental loving service of the Lord, they will certainly seek engagement in the service of materialism. In the material world everyone, including Lord Siva and Lord Brahma--to say nothing of other demigods in the heavenly planets--is subjected to the influence of sense objects, and the only method to get out of this puzzle of material existence is to become Krsna conscious. Lord Siva was deep in meditation, but when Parvati agitated him for sense pleasure, he agreed to the proposal, and as a result Kartikeya was born. When Haridasa Thakura was a young devotee of the Lord, he was similarly allured by the incarnation of Maya-devi, but Haridasa easily passed the test because of his unalloyed devotion to Lord Krsna."
Caitanya Caritamrita, Madhya Lila, 15.264:
"Inform my daughter Sathi to abandon her relationship with her husbandbecause he has fallen down. When the husband falls down, it is thewife's duty to relinquish the relationship."
* Here's a secret. GHQ is not trying to practice high level Krishna Consciousness, they’re practitioners of Varnashrama Dharma: that's DIFFERENT. While these "can be similar, they can also be dissimilar. Most in India practice Varnashrama Dharma whether they worship Krishna as God, Siva, the Universe, Demigods, are Impersonalists or Mayavadi's. It can also be used in Krishna Consciousness as steps up a ladder, but Krishna Consciousness is higher.
(Speaking of Varnashrama Dharma Lord Caitanya said) "This is external. Say something better.' So in this way Ramananda Raya was putting some better proposal than varnashrama-dharma." Srimad Bhagavatam Lecture, 1972.
GHQ quote Prabhupada more from instructions on Varnashrama Dharma than Krishna consciousness, sometimes omitting full quote, which would reveal their truthfully citing about women from Varnashrama Dharma. Learn how to discern that for yourself, because Prabhupada often speaks differently about Varnashrama, since it is different, than he does about superior Krishna consciousness, exempt from bodily glorification's. Misogynists will always fight against those who want to practice only the higher forms of Krishna consciousness because it makes them look inferior, revealing their true desires. They rather try to sneak their social and moral and marriage issues in as if its Krishna consciousness, even when quoting Dharma of Varna's and Ashramas. Social, moral and other issues are automatically taken care of in Krishna consciousness.
"The system of varnashrama-dharma is more or less based on moral principles. There is very little realization of the Transcendence as such, and Lord Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu rejected it as superficial and asked Ramananda Raya to go further into the matter." Srimad Bhagavatam, Introduction.
There are other times GHQ will acknowledge its Varnashrama Dharma, next will also try to claim its what Prabhupada wanted or the same as Krishna consciousness. Don’t be a blind believer, look it up. Honesty is not their best quality. When Prabhupada spoke of Varnashrama Dharma, here is what HE wanted:
"The social institution known as varnasrama-dharma--the institution dividing society into four divisions of social life and four occupational divisions of caste--is not meant to divide human society according to birth. Such divisions are in terms of educational qualifications. " Bhagavad Gita 16:1 - 3, Purport
GHQ and nonGHQ misogynists only want Varnashrama Dharma based on male superiority, women as less intelligent, men are gurupati, blacks latinos & women disallowed education & kept down. Principally the bodily concept, while others must agree and surrender to remain ignorant in blind following to these higher birth men. Precise opposite of what Prabhupada instructed.
"He may be a man, he may be a woman, he may be a sudra, he may be abrahmana or he may be black or he may be white. Everyone can approachto the highest platform of devotional service. It is open field." ~ SPLecture on Srimad-Bhagavatam. Montreal, 19 August 1968
More of what GHQ doesn't want you to know:
They want only to practice Varnashrama Dharma "because" within it (or their idea of it) they can have polygamy, but no polygamy in pure Krishna consciousness. Only in Varnashrama Dharma they are mechanically superior because of male body parts, in Krishna consciousness it is by qualification. In Varnashrama Dharma the wife's not to get job but to stay home & serve husband. Whereas Bibhavati devi dasi asked Prabhupada: "Should I live like in the Vedic times, and simply serve my husband and child?" He replied: "No, you have a talent as a writer, you should write articles for newspapers and propagate Krishna Consciousness." In Varnashrama Dharma husband will prohibit wife going out of house & onto the streets for Sankirtan book distribution. Exact opposite is in Krishna consciousness, with the importance of following spiritual masters instruction to push forward Prabhuapda and Lord Caitanya's movement. That takes center stage.
"Now you have a very nice wife, Kancanbala, so my request to both of you is that you work combinedly to push on this Sankirtana Movement of Caitanya Mahaprabhu. This will bring perfection to your lives, as more and more you become attached to the Lotus Feet of Krishna. Persons under the grip of Maya are simply mad after sense enjoyment, but our goal is to lose all desire for sense gratification and become simply mad after Krishna." SP letter to Madhusudana das, Tittenhurst, September 19, 1969
"Regarding your questions about Sankirtana Party, I think you should try to always have Sankirtana going on. All other things are subsidiary. This chanting is our life and soul, so we must arrange our program now so that there will be as much chanting on the streets and at college engagements as possible." SP letter to Satsvarupa, Columbus, Ohio, May 14, 1969
There may be some misunderstanding because of a few, though just a few, places Prabhupada said to want Varnashrama, but misogynists omit the fact he stressed it for the people. The initiate is to keep strict vows and lifestyle. Fallen (and stubborn) devotee who won't keep vows are also allowed Varnashrama dharma but they try to say they are superior, consequently we are pointing out the difference.
However, there's a different type of Varnashrama Dharma, one GHQ do not promote, because it does not give them massive authority or sense gratification. This is referred to as "Daivi" Varanashrama Dharma - only one wife. They can't stand that one, might actually have to control themselves or limit to one woman. They take great power in the fact they are male, little need to purify or qualify, just need to be male. In truth this does not make them superior, as they are but spirit soul like everyone else.
Now an honest initiated disciple who is strong enough to maintain vows and right thinking, if drawn to Varnashrama dharma, can become part of Daivi Varnashrama Dharma. However, they can not allow themselves to be easily mislead or tempted to fall into the caste system method. To be very fixed up is required for such an initiate. Too often those overly attached to Varnashrama Dharma aren't that interested in Daivi, or still think of themselves as superior merely by birth.
"Regarding your taking a second wife, you cannot do this. At least you cannot stay in our temple in Vrndaban. If you want to take a second wife, then you have to leave our Vrndaban temple. Whether you can maintain them and take some job and earn? Our temples cannot support you and your two wives. You will want three, four and more. If GHQ are superior following Varnashrama Dharma [caste system], why are old men still with wife? Why they have not moved on to the next ashrama?
We know the Krishna Book perspective that a Krishna Conscious man does not have to leave his wife. However, these men are not very Krishna Conscious, they are sex conscious, they are control conscious, they are slave and rape conscious, they are superior white male conscious. Addicts even. In the association of woman, they want to get touchy-feely, or else put her to work. They are not preparing for the last phase of their life.
Still have householder responsibilities, with babies and children who need them? Hiding behind the skirts of women and diapers of children, who they might not treat so well, or know how to parent. Responsibly is misused as an word-juggling excuse to "continue searching” for co-wife’s. Never ending. Instead, superior devotees they be should easily be cable of stopping sex activities, then they won't have continuous babies to look after.
There may be claims these children still need a father. Clarification. In Varnashrama, specifically VarnaPrast the man may still see and be involved with his children. He can also arrange with his bank to send money regularly to wife and children. In Sanyas he is not to see wife to avoid temptations and decrease attachment. However, can still send her money impersonally through the bank, children are taken care of, he can still see them. He must financially support. Man claiming high intelligence should have been arranging this all his householder years. Prabhupada told a sanyasi to send his wife money.
GHQ always boast of protection, let them detach from their money. Money will protect woman. He can then renounce. Control-freaks will concoct some word juggled philosophy to get out of doing like that. In his time of renunciation he is getting lost in co-wives and sense gratification. He needs to get more fixed-up himself.
Sense gratification including but not limited to sexadd the importance to them to have power over others. To be facilitated to intimidate men who disagree with them as inferior to GHQ, the ability to scare women, using games of the mind, indulging in pleasures within the mind on the mental platform - impurities of thought - all sense gratification to certain men. Afraid to surrender their power to any authority like a temple president or some guy in the office even, although they could live outside & do temple service but this means they would have to surrender some of that false ego, and that they will not give up.
What is most unfortunate for such men who select Varnashrama ‘caste Hindu system,’ or “imitation” of exalted scriptural sages, is that after decades of being gurupati to wife, the big guy to kids and in his home in general as authoritarian, next its difficult for him to adjust and get truthfully humble in the real world of devotees. Compared to normal godbrothers, they are lagging. Those who were realistic, respected wife, educated daughters, taught sons right, in finding realistic ways to get along with family fairly, automatically learned ways to get along with innumerable others. Using the grhasta (marriage) ashrama for purification instead of sense gratification of power and false pride, this brought more happiness than misogynist’s can imagine possible in such ways.
The regular devotee men advanced beyond GHQ and any misogynists. If they ever compared out in reality, they'd find out the hard way. Though they seldom would look into it honestly. However, their superiority? An attempt to overcompensate for their sinful desires which they insist the right to follow with actions, then name them 'spiritual.'
“The system of caste, or varnasrama-dharma, is no longer regular even amongst the so-called followers of the system. Nor is it now possible to reestablish the institutional function in the present context of social, political and economic revolution. S.B. 2.4.18

The Madhurasthakam, composed by Sri Vallabhacharya (1478 A.D), is a unique stotra, describing the sweetness of Lord Sri Krishna.
Madhurashtakam was originally written in Sanskrit and is easily understood. Only one word, madhuram, is repeated seven times each in this ashtakam (poem with eight verses)!
The Madhurasthakam uses just one adjective, "madhuram", meaning sweet or beautiful etc., to describe the lovely attributes of Lord Sri Krishna’s beautiful form, who is the master of Sweetness and Sweetness personified.
It is evident from the ashtakam that the devotee is fascinated to have a look at not only the beautiful divine sweet form [sarvanga sundara rupam] of Lord Krishna but also the very existence of the Lord -- by way of His moves, plays, pastimes, etc.
Thus says the devotee: "The Lord of Mathura, Krishna, is sweet, sweet and nothing but sweet! Even ambrosia and nectar may satiate after some time, but concerning the sweetness of the Divine Lord, one cannot have enough of it. Krishna’s lips are very sweet, his beautiful face is sweet, his beautiful black eyes with sidelong glances are sweet, his enchanting smile is even sweeter, his love-sports are sweet and his three-fold bend form is very sweet. O Lord of sweetness, everything about You is completely sweet, You are sweetness personified. "

Sri Nathji - Krishna he Sweetness of Lord Sri Krishna
Vallabha-acharya (1479-1531) A famous 16th century sage-philosopher of India and great devotee of Lord Krishna. He was born in Champaran near Raipur in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
Vallabha is regarded as an acharya and guru within the Vaishnava traditions of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Within Indian Philosophy he is known as the writer of sixteen 'stotras' (tracts) and produced several commentaries on the Bhagavata Purana, which describes the many lilas (pastimes) of the avatar, Krishna. Many of his pieces involve praise of Lord Krishna, especially in the form of a boy. Some works include Vyasa Sutra Bhashya, Jaimini Sutra Bhasya, Bhagavata Tika Subodhini, Pushti Pravala Maryada and Siddhanta Rahasya, all in Sanskrit. He has written many books in Brij Bhasha as well.
Vallabha Acharya occupies a unique place in Indian culture as a scholar, a philosopher and devotional (bhakti) preacher. He is especially known as a lover and a propagator of Bhagavata Dharma, teaching the path of Pushti-Marga, or the "path of grace", establishing the worship of Sri Nathji.
Shri Nathji is the form of Lord Krishna when he lifted the Govardhana Hill. He is shown with his left hand raised and the right hand closed in a fist and resting on his hip. His followers worship him both as Shri Radhanath or the Lord of Radha and as the mischievous child Bala-Krishna.
Vallabha emphasized, that Shree Krishna is the personification of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who prevails everywhere and who resides in everyone’s heart as the Supersoul as well.

Vallabha is regarded as an acharya and guru within the Vaishnava traditions of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Within Indian Philosophy he is known as the writer of sixteen 'stotras' (tracts) and produced several commentaries on the Bhagavata Purana, which describes the many lilas (pastimes) of the avatar, Krishna. Many of his pieces involve praise of Lord Krishna, especially in the form of a boy. Some works include Vyasa Sutra Bhashya, Jaimini Sutra Bhasya, Bhagavata Tika Subodhini, Pushti Pravala Maryada and Siddhanta Rahasya, all in Sanskrit. He has written many books in Brij Bhasha as well.
Vallabha Acharya occupies a unique place in Indian culture as a scholar, a philosopher and devotional (bhakti) preacher. He is especially known as a lover and a propagator of Bhagavata Dharma, teaching the path of Pushti-Marga, or the "path of grace", establishing the worship of Sri Nathji.
Shri Nathji is the form of Lord Krishna when he lifted the Govardhana Hill. He is shown with his left hand raised and the right hand closed in a fist and resting on his hip. His followers worship him both as Shri Radhanath or the Lord of Radha and as the mischievous child Bala-Krishna.
Vallabha emphasized, that Shree Krishna is the personification of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who prevails everywhere and who resides in everyone’s heart as the Supersoul as well.

GBC Disagree-Will Mayapur Revist?
(The Mayapura meeting has come and gone, with nothing mentioned. Faith in them is down the drain. What a shame they did not take the need to fully renounce the GHQ 100%, as something very serious. I shall sit and wait for the eventual lawsuits or different serious problems to arise. If they be smart, they may reopen the case. Though another year for them to reopen and reexamine it, not something I plan on waiting. Hope they dont wait for the yearly meetings to make these changes, there can always be hope some temple president on his own will be strong in the face of the GHQ abusers, bewilderers of Prabhupada's program. A a temple authority by himself could ban each one he knows. If real fortunate an independant GBC member may also come out of the depths of minimizing the importance of this, and start to speak up against the GHQ. It seems too many authorities are either cowards, or agree but keep it silent. The point here has been made, its never to late for them to continue to rectify. If they want to maintain followers of GBC, good idea to do so and not make all wait for the next Mayapura meeting. I'll be practicing Krishna consciousness independantly, but with hopes these changes get made, maybe when I'm not even looking.) GBC Disagree-Will Mayapur Revist? With the upcoming Mayapur meetings, this post is in hopes Governing Board or GBC will not ignore, will not say "we've all ready done this," but sees this real problem was left in limbo, incomplete. This post is to recognize the vast difference between what is preached by GHQ and what is preached by Prabhupada, then asking authorities brave enough to take protective measures not only for the sake of women and children, but also for the sake to keep Srila Prabhupada's Movement pure, and as he wanted it. Remember when there was abuse in old gurukula schools? Surely abusers could come up with quotes and phrases to appease those who investigated them. Its not hard, an easy decoy. Did GBC agree with 'some' preachings from Dallas teachers during that abuse? Sexually molestations? Did GBC take too long to intervene because they allowed themselves to listen to misused scriptural quotes from child molesters? Learn from this history. Do not now repeat it now on women. Restorers that women are adults. However, that potion is mostly removed from the abused woman. Money and power taken away so he can do whatever he wants but she can hardly breathe. Told she will become a *hore unless she agrees with a misogyny husband. She's also constantly reminded to have no more intelligent than a 14 year old boy. Different quotes of her intelligence are avoided, both to her, and to you. GBC we implore you, don't be fanatical to avoid Mayapur discussion of this topic again. No one is beating GBC, or raping GBC's daughters. Show you are not selfish by taking care of the little people. Additional difficultiy arises when it is women and not children. With child abuse, if an authority is not a pedophile like the offender, or is unlike other offenders curel and physically or mentally abusive, it became easier to confront and resolve. However in kali yug while everyone is suppose to be celibate, too many are not, or try yet struggle. No judgement. Practically all men need a wife at lesat for subtities in life. Some don't, but if in truth (not abusing woman due to his celibacy but actually happy in his celibacy), generaully even authorities require a woman in their life, and if its not turning out to be marital bliss, they may have difficulty standing up for women, being more drawn to getting 'her' under control, rather than looking if he contributes any problems to the marriage. Marriage is a purifying ashrama after all, meaning two need purification, not just one. However, then marches in the GHQ, savor of their day, justifying cruely toward woman, in hidden wording and sneaky actions. Thus we hope any authority with woman issues too, humbles themselves by resolving marital problems through healthy ways, not align with ghq woman-haters quick fix now. (Bullying.) Scary consequences upon time of death.
If GBC still agrees with some GHQ beliefs, we the other half (& more) of the ISKCON, suggest those particular GBC members are no longer qualified because:
- Because it reveals GBC is under bodily concept of life, without a doubt.
- Because agreeing with GHQ gives GBC extra unnecessary power & control over women.
- Whereas genuinely qualified authority all ready have proper power and control, does not need to steal it using methods of the weak, or materialistic techniques. GBC should already have spiritual strength to inspire others want to do what is right, or to maintain.
- Because agreement with some misogynists beliefs include: attention only to misogynists philosophical good points and ignoring bad points. Hashing it out: something be good, something be bad, results in too much time spent on the mental platform when Prabhupada has all ready made it clear. Surrender to his method, otherwise interim, abuse will continue.
However GHQ hase big lying propensity. Look at the many letters Srila Prabhupada wrote to his female disciples and see if there is any inferiror lesser treatment. What is found are instructions how to be transcendenal to any material body, to be Krishna conscious. Therefore some gbc, the misogynist ones, have now convinced many devotees inferiority toward women is Prabhupada's way, but that not true, becasue it is THEIR way.
* GBC, remember that GHQ will always want to overthrow ISKCON, they desire to marry (sex up) underaged minors, look downward upon Latinos and blacks, ghq believe in wife beating, & in society of celibate initiates they believe in rape of wife, and in polygamy (you 'know' they are having lots of sex, wake up if you don't), ghq blames their sins on Prabhupada as if he authorized and wanted it. Consciousness of GHQ is very low and degrading to the Movement. They're also ruining Prabhupada's reputation on the internet. Where he once was the guru of love and revealing God as beautiful Krsna, he is now known as a promoter of misogyny!
Mr. GBC, do you really want conncections with them? If so, keep only 'disagreeing' with them, & when they start to show up on "Sex Offender Lists," or arrested by a neighbor who saw something weird, things beyond control, and somewhat due you never preaching them out of maya or next renouncing all connection with them, then ISKCON authorities will be legally considered some form or other of an accomplice. Hope you have extra cash for lawsuits. Regardless how the results turn either way, they're an accident waiting to happen.
Since that has all ready been forewarned, maybe not so bad if it happens. Maybe what it takes to get you to climb out of ivory towers with high pay checks, and see the way the rest of us live, so many who hang on your words and making of laws, waiting for relief. The rest whom you are suppose to be getting pay checks to take care and protect. If you continue to not do so, don't be surprised if some devotee family member becomes willing to go to court as a witness if needed. WAKE UP, we don't want that to happen. Therefore FULLY disagree with GHQ and get them out of our hair too.Put distance between yourself and the bizarre GHQ, or somehow or other, it will backfire and karmically find you.
For goodness-sake, stop making us wait around until the proper time or the perfect meeting. Get moving before its YOUR sister, wife they mean-mouth or call *hore, your child, or the child or your child -that these ghq get their muddy hands on. You can't protect all your family members on an individual basis, but have much more power to achieve that collectively, as a GBC member.
Remove GHQ with legal paperwork, from anything connected to isckon, or you too become supporters of these polygamists pedophiles, Narcissists, or criminals.
If GBC refuse to do these things, maybe GBC should no longer be given paychecks until they do their job. Maybe some GBC are also woman-haters and therefore unqualified to be leader GBC. How many misogynist GBC do we have? Wonder why the Movement doesn't flourish? There's one good reason. Many GBC only "disagree" with some parts of woman-hater GHQ preachings, because other parts, such as the misogynistic parts, they agree!Enough is enough. How long GBC you think everyone will put up disguised woman hatred. Not a great disguise, we see through it easily.
Calling all GBC misogynists, please step down, or will qualified GBC please remove these misogynists? No more statements of: "we disagree," but fully disagree, or give up position. Either it pays to do that, or you're a misogynists like the ghq.
Much GBC power comes from the people. When the people stop believing in you, gradually you will loose. The people with female children are sick of it.After writings before on this blog, godsisters and their husbands logging complaints to GBC about merely "disagreeing" with the GHQ (what a slap in the face women felt when GBC said like this!), I too am loosing faith in you. Thus Mr. GBC either do your job or get off the pot. Rid yourselves of ideas of ghq as right, remember how that didn't work for child abusers justifying their sins with Prabhupada's words, and detach from GHQ's bad association, or step down. All ideas should come from Prabhupada, no need to read selective quoting of GHQ as if they are your authority. GBC, for every crisis that manifests, you take too long to resolve. They often would not have to rise to the platform of crisis if you renounced politico, got up, and did your service to protect the devotees. Thus GBC, this is the latest opportunity. Do it now and save grace.
If you keep right on merely "disagreeing," next devotee families will keep right on moving out. We do not bloop but remain devotees of Krishna in safer environment, as we don't need you to be a devotee of Krishna, but we would rather have you , if you did right by us.
Directly read and take instruction from Prabhuapda's writings and notice too how he truthfully treated women.Everyone thinks they are so smart with University degrees, yet Prabhupada himself used the same words GHQ uesed (misuse) , but never do we see him to abuse women or children, or anyone.
What's obvious to the sincere, to the humble, is that we often do not understand the transcendental writings and wordings of the high consciousness and intelligence of the pure devotee Srila Prabhupada, thus according to everyone's individual natural propensity some may think he meant (to go ahead and abuse) which is not what he meant. Men if suppose to be superior intellect, why they don't get this? Some do, it is the criminally minded, or the sick, or the exceptionally puffed up, who don't get it.
Dear GBC, please consider, the educated who read what ghq preacher believe them to be: very emotionally messed up, or suffering from some form of mental illness, or criminally minded. While you are only disagreeing with some parts of what ghq says and agreeing with others, those with intelligence only focus on the dangerous parts, as should you. If we are to draw more into the movement, do you want the crazies like the polygamists or even wives who agree? If you think the submissives will be easier to control, this is illusion. They are often the crazies, will ultimately cause a trouble you don't even know how to deal with. Better to attract the more functional type of women, and their husbands, to the movement. Wholesome families, who would then be helpful to you.
GBC do you job, or let someone else do it if you don't want to get involved. Action must be taken soon, or everyone wholesome will start to leave. The sane don't stay in movements that tolerate abuse. The inteligent know thats nutty.
Devotee and the Divinity
An Essay By A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada
A pure devotee is just like the Desire-Tree from whom we can have on request everything desirable. This is no myth or bluff but it is actual fact. The devotee can deliver to us the mercy of God and what is not obtainable by one who has got the mercy of God? Therefore the devotees are the most magnanimous in their charitable disposition of mind. They are also the deliverer of the fallen souls and we need to offer our obeisances unto their lotus feet so that we can invoke their blessings in our all attempts.
The highest authority for benediction is God Himself and the Devotees are His custodians. If a devotee desires to bestow upon us the mercy of God, he is quite competent to do it in all respects. Such devotees are called Mahatmas i.e. those who have surpassed all narrowness of the mind because supramentally they depend upon God & God alone they enchant(?) His glories and discuss about His wonderful acts. All these make the devotee just qualified to accept everyone's' obeisances and the devotee as respectfull as the Personality of Godhead Himself. There is no difference between them qualitatively.
I must think always myself as the most fallen soul as I am so by dint of my mundane attachment and if I surrender unto the devotee, surely he will protect me in all respects: I am a needy man, constantly suffering from the pangs of insufficiency and the devotee is as above mentioned, the desire tree from whom I can have everything that I may desire. The devotee is not a miser like the mundane people and had he not been so, I could not have satisfied all my needs from him only. The Divinity has empowered the devotees to deliver the fallen souls like me and by nature they are not only kind but also liberal and munificent. They are not poor either in knowledge or in opulence. Therefore, if we at all want to satisfy our all (?) needs, we must approach the devotee only; otherwise if we approach any other person, not only not our desires will be satisfied in full but also we shall imperceptibly accumulate a range of inauspicious things which will baffle our desire to become complete and self-sufficient.
If we have to approach therefore a devotee of the nature described above, we must have at last the preliminary knowledge for discriminating a pure devotee from the nondevotee. Let us first of all understand what are the other (?) that co-exist along with the pure devotee. The devotee is relatively known with the existence of the Divinity or the Personality of Godhead who is the Fountain head of everything that be. (?) along with the existence of a devotee and the Personality of Godhead, there is another set of living being who are detached from direct relations of Godhead and therefore known as the nondevotee. In other words men who are eternally attached to the transcendental loving service of Godhead, is called the devotees and men who are wrongly detached from the transcendental service of Godhead but have the latent potency to become so engaged (in the service) of Godhead, are called the non-devotees. In Sanskrit language the devotee is called 'Vaisnava' the divinity is called 'Visnu' and the nondevotee is called 'Avaisnava' Thus we can conclude that there are these three categories eternally co-existent in this world.
The 'Avaisnavas' or the non-devotees are those who are constantly engaged in topics and matters not concerned with the Divinity or Visnu. Such non-devotees have made up their own plan of living, dictated by the illusory energy of Godhead and they think it their duty of life to eat drink be merry and enjoy the senses. The whole plan of material civilization is based on the foundation of such non-devotional plan of sensuous activities.
Therefore if we want to be devotee or 'Vaisnava' we must make it a point of our life, that we shall not talk or hear of anything which is unconcerned with the Divinity. What we eat, what we give, what we meditate upon, and all such other things must be related with the Divinity. It is our duty to eat the remnant of food stuff first offered to the Divinity, it is our duty to talk about Him and to preach about Him. We must always allow ourselves to be under the guidance of a pure devotee and if we neglect to become so and so in relation with the Divinity, then it is sure and certain that we become identified with those who are in the categories of nondevotee.
Materially advanced people may ask what is our loss by remaining a nondevotee? What is there if somebody remains nondevotee by his natural tendency unlike One who becomes a devotee by his inclination. To answer this question it may be said that if we want to remain a nondevotee, threefold miseries inflicted bv the laws of Nature will surely disturb us. The miseries are, one related with our gross body and subtle mind, two in relation with other living being and three in relation with the troubles inflicted upon us by the controlling deities namely the sun, the moon, the planets, and others. And such troubles are generated only in our state of forgetfulness of our eternal relation with Godhead. In the Bhagwat Geeta it is said that the laws of Nature are insurmountable by the attempt of conditioned souls. Those who surrender unto the Supreme will of Godhead, can only get rid of such threefold miseries of the laws of Nature. It must be understood that the laws of Nature is so made that they make a presance(?) by force to revoke the lost relation of living being with Godhead. In extreme difficulty i.e. when a man fails to make solution of his difficult problems, he automatically and unconsciously makes a surrender unto God. It is clear therefore that the natural law is something like police action of Mother Nature to reinstate a living being unto the transcendental loving service of Godhead. It being so, if we want to get real relief from the stringent laws of Nature it is our duty to become devotee. We gain everything by becoming a devotee and we spoil everything by remaining a nondevotee. The human form of life offered by Mother nature is a chance for the living entity to revert to his original position of a devotee.
The material Nature of Godhead is called illusory (Maya) because it keeps us in darkness of ignorance when we misuse our human independence by animal proclivities. The material Nature is personified in the divinity of Godess 'Kali' whose grim feature is devastating and she dark all over the body although she appears Herself in the attractive feature of a young girl. Her thankless task is to keep the conditioned soul in the darkness of ignorance as long as misuses his human independence and keep him always aloof from the transcendental service of Godhead. In that state of ignorance, the conditioned soul, instead of rendering service unto Godhead, thinks himself wrongly as the one who may be served by Godhead. In such a state of ignorance, he thinks that the beauty of material nature is made by Godhead for his exploitation and enjoyment. In that state of ignorance he wants to lord it over the laws of nature and meets thereby devastation and nothing else. That is the picture, real picture of Godess 'Kali'. The conditioned soul wants to pacify the devastating feature of material Nature by his own manufactured plans and techniques without knowing it well, that the material Nature cannot be brought into service of the conditioned soul and that she cannot be conquered except by the method of complete surrender unto the lotus feet of the Absolute Personality of Godhead Sree Krishna.
By the misuse of the infinitesemal independence given to the living being, he poses himself to be able to accept the prayers of other individual souls by becoming a false God himself and does not put himself for the prayers of Godhead. With such vain purpose, the conditioned soul is trying to become a designer of a peaceful world situation(?) Such imperfect wishful desires in the minds of the conditioned souls, make them oblige to become the leaders of other innocent men, just like a blind man desires to direct the activities of other fellow blind men. And all these misconducts become possible when we are overshadowed upon the pure knowledge of our own self. In such state of things only we think ourselves only as the supreme designer, master, enjoyer, seer and doer of everything. But when we enter into the association of devotees for guidance we can know that we are neither, the designer, nor the master, nor the enjoyer and everything is done by the will of God through His different agencies and therefore He is only the object of our adoration and worship.
It is however very difficult to rise up to such standard of pure devotional activities in this world. Most people are inclined to work under the laws of 'Karma'or to work for one's own fruitive enjoyment. No body works for any other else except for his ownself. Under the law of 'Karma' the narrow minded conditioned soul does labour for his own benefit under illusion He works for his own benefit, for his family's benefit, for his society's benefit, for communities benefit, for his country's benefit or for his party's benefit, but no body works for Gods' benefit. That is the life of a nondevotee.
Beneficient activities for ones' self-interest or for the matter of extended self-interest are done under the laws of 'Karma' and the labourer under such laws of 'Karma' are called 'Kripana' or misers distinguished from the 'Brahmanas' or the broad minded liberals. Such narrow minded leaders may be very popular by their philanthropic activities, but the devotees let us know that such leaders under the laws of 'Karma are bound up hands and legs and cannot deliver us the real thing. They can give us temporary relief and illusory happiness subject to the laws of Nature and as such beneficial activities are sure to be lost in the wilderness of eternity at the cost of immense loss of human energy. The devotees let us know that our only duty is to workout the plan of Godhead by rendering transcendental loving service for him. Such service is possible to be done by every one and all because God is for all living beings. Sectarian service for Material Nature keeps aloof the lower grade of living entities from direct service but transcendental loving service of Godhead is possible to be done by all creatures of God never mind what they are either the gods, the men the beasts, the birds, (? ) , and all other living entities. Non-devotees are inclined to think that human being is meant for enjoying life. The human life is different from the animal life by the angle of vision of the nondevotee in as much as varieties of enjoyment can be undertaken by the human being. Such non-devotees distinguish the life of human being from the life of lower animals by qualitative and quantitative distinction of the grades of sense gratification.
The conditioned soul therefore is afraid of mixing with the association of devotees thinking that by such association he may be drifted from his sensual enjoyment. In such ignorance only, the nondevotee tries to turn the table upon the devotee by emphasizing on the point that the devotees are not liberal because they do not encourage their indomitable desires for material hankerings neither do they support others wild (?) for extravagancy conditioned by the laws of Nature. To the non-devotees the cultural and progressive life of a devotee is a sort of monotory and obstruction to unrestricted flow of material enjoyment. The nondevotee will be able to make a perfection of his life when he will be able to see the Personality of Godhead besides his ownself and try to serve Him instead of falsely serving himself either in concentrated or extended mode. On that auspicious day of his life, the nondevotee will get relief from such troubling conceptions as the atomic theory of the cosmic world(? ) or the conceptions of false nationalism, philanthropic and other mundane (?) one ideologies. The nondevotee will from that date engage his ears for aural reception of the science of transcendental loving service of Godhead from those who are engaged hundred per cent in such transcendental loving service of Godhead.
But if the nondevotee without associating with the pure devotee continues his material worship he will do so at the risk spoiling his human energy by serving the material Nature atom by atom for millions and millions of different grades of life.
By the association of the devotee, the nondevotee will come to his senses that by serving the Divinity only all other objects will be served. By watering the root of a tree the leaves and branches are simultaneously watered and by supplying food in the stomach all the senses are automatically served and nourished. The secret of this science can be revealed only by the association of pure devotees.
Such pure devotee is peaceful and non-aggressive. He is never attracted by any object of material happiness. Neither in this life or in the life after, a pure devotee has any attraction for anything which can be more attractive than the transcendental beauty of the lotus feet of Lord Krishna the Personality of Godhead. As such, we must note it for certain that whenever there is any lack of such attraction for the lotus feet of Sree Krishna we are surely being counter attracted by the illusory Energy in her manifold representations.
We can acquire full knowledge of everything by knowing well the All perfect, from his devotee. One who has scanty knowledge of the Complete Whole or one who is materially poor in knowledge and opulence, how he can do good to others and if he ever does so he can disseminate his poor fund of knowledge to the still more poor audience or followers. In outstanding contrast to such poor fund of knowledge and acquisition, the devotee has in his possession 'Bhagawan' or 'Narayana' who is the fountainhead of all opulence, all power, all beauty, all fame, all knowledge and all indifference in fullness. Therefore a pure devotee is also full of all opulence, all power, all beauty, all fame, all knowledge and all indifference. 'Narayana' or 'Bhagavan' does never become poorer as somebody thinks Him wrongly or less than His original potency by such controlling of His devotee and He remains the same full in every aspect. That is the instruction we have from the 'Brihadasarayaka Upanishad' It is said there that the Absolute Truth is full in every respect and if His full strength is deducted from Him still He remains full. The subtracting process of matter make it ultimately nil. But the complete Whole Spirit by the process of eternal emanation, eternally remains the complete whole. One who has in his possession such Complete Whole i.e. one who is eternally engaged in supra mundane service of Godhead, cannot be compared with any mundane creature. That is the difference between a devotee and a nondevotee.
It may be noted however that transcendental service of a pure devotee is more important than the transcendental service of Godhead. The devotee is the transcendental medium through whom it is possible to render service unto Godhead. Lord Chaitanya is the ideal devotee and those who follow His footprints are also ideal devotee. Lord Chaitanya is more kind than Sree Krishna although Lord Chaitanya is Sree Krishna Emperic speculators become unwilling to surrender unto Sree Krishna as it was demanded by Him in the Bhagwat Geeta. Ashuras like Dantabakra and Shisupal considered it that Sree Krishna is not the Absolute Truth and therefore they declined to surrender unto Him. Although Sree Krishna presented Himself as the Absolute Truth and although He manifested His all-pervading universal feature in His own transcendental Body, men who have very poor fund of knowledge considered Him as an ordinary man like them and thus made malafide interpretations of the Bhagwat Geeta. And in order to rectify this malafide representation of Bhagwat Geeta, Sree Krishna appeared Himself again in the Form of Lord Chaitanya but this time He did not declare Himself as Supreme Lord but He presented Himself as an humble devotee of the Lord. As such Lord Chaitanya is more kindly than Lord Krishna.
Lord Chaitanya made it clear that by becoming a devotee of Sree Krishna no interest of Krishna is served. Sree Krishna being full in Himself He does not need the service of any body else. But it is the interest of the devotee to serve Sree Krishna because by such service only he can himself become constitutionally perfect and happy. He also warned us for committing the mistake of thinking God as an ordinary man or an ordinary man as God. Both conceptions are dangerous in the path Divine life. No mental speculator has even been able to surpass the knowledge of Lord Chaitanya. Each every one of them were defeated by Him and therefore Lord Chaitanya is worshipped by all section of sane persons. He unfolded the real nature of the living being and every one was made perfect by His preaching by knowing himself as eternal part and parcel servitor of Sree Krishna. The teachings of Bhagwat Geeta was practically demonstrated by Lord Chaitanya, the ideal devotee.

When the agent mind, under the influence of the external energy of Godhead, tries to cheat its master spirit soul, the living entity becomes a worker to enjoy the fruitive result. Religious ideologies that have so far been introduced in the phenomenal world have practically choked up the transcendental service of the Absolute. Such mental speculationists try to engage the devotee also for satisfying their fruitive ideologies. But the devotee keeps himself aloof from them by miles asunder. Mental speculation is based on false ego as it is said in the Bhagwat Geeta that conditioned soul thinks himself a worker bewildered by the false ego. If we are therefore influenced by mental speculative process for religious ideologies, certainly we shall remain a bewildered fruitive actor and shall never be able to become devotee.
Let us therefore be prepared to become the transcendental servitor of the devotee of the Divinity only. Let us not be misled by false status quo. We can fulfil our lifes' mission simply by serving & associating with devotee who are cent per cent engaged in the service of the Divinity.

A pure devotee is just like the Desire-Tree from whom we can have on request everything desirable. This is no myth or bluff but it is actual fact. The devotee can deliver to us the mercy of God and what is not obtainable by one who has got the mercy of God? Therefore the devotees are the most magnanimous in their charitable disposition of mind. They are also the deliverer of the fallen souls and we need to offer our obeisances unto their lotus feet so that we can invoke their blessings in our all attempts.
The highest authority for benediction is God Himself and the Devotees are His custodians. If a devotee desires to bestow upon us the mercy of God, he is quite competent to do it in all respects. Such devotees are called Mahatmas i.e. those who have surpassed all narrowness of the mind because supramentally they depend upon God & God alone they enchant(?) His glories and discuss about His wonderful acts. All these make the devotee just qualified to accept everyone's' obeisances and the devotee as respectfull as the Personality of Godhead Himself. There is no difference between them qualitatively.
I must think always myself as the most fallen soul as I am so by dint of my mundane attachment and if I surrender unto the devotee, surely he will protect me in all respects: I am a needy man, constantly suffering from the pangs of insufficiency and the devotee is as above mentioned, the desire tree from whom I can have everything that I may desire. The devotee is not a miser like the mundane people and had he not been so, I could not have satisfied all my needs from him only. The Divinity has empowered the devotees to deliver the fallen souls like me and by nature they are not only kind but also liberal and munificent. They are not poor either in knowledge or in opulence. Therefore, if we at all want to satisfy our all (?) needs, we must approach the devotee only; otherwise if we approach any other person, not only not our desires will be satisfied in full but also we shall imperceptibly accumulate a range of inauspicious things which will baffle our desire to become complete and self-sufficient.
If we have to approach therefore a devotee of the nature described above, we must have at last the preliminary knowledge for discriminating a pure devotee from the nondevotee. Let us first of all understand what are the other (?) that co-exist along with the pure devotee. The devotee is relatively known with the existence of the Divinity or the Personality of Godhead who is the Fountain head of everything that be. (?) along with the existence of a devotee and the Personality of Godhead, there is another set of living being who are detached from direct relations of Godhead and therefore known as the nondevotee. In other words men who are eternally attached to the transcendental loving service of Godhead, is called the devotees and men who are wrongly detached from the transcendental service of Godhead but have the latent potency to become so engaged (in the service) of Godhead, are called the non-devotees. In Sanskrit language the devotee is called 'Vaisnava' the divinity is called 'Visnu' and the nondevotee is called 'Avaisnava' Thus we can conclude that there are these three categories eternally co-existent in this world.
The 'Avaisnavas' or the non-devotees are those who are constantly engaged in topics and matters not concerned with the Divinity or Visnu. Such non-devotees have made up their own plan of living, dictated by the illusory energy of Godhead and they think it their duty of life to eat drink be merry and enjoy the senses. The whole plan of material civilization is based on the foundation of such non-devotional plan of sensuous activities.
Therefore if we want to be devotee or 'Vaisnava' we must make it a point of our life, that we shall not talk or hear of anything which is unconcerned with the Divinity. What we eat, what we give, what we meditate upon, and all such other things must be related with the Divinity. It is our duty to eat the remnant of food stuff first offered to the Divinity, it is our duty to talk about Him and to preach about Him. We must always allow ourselves to be under the guidance of a pure devotee and if we neglect to become so and so in relation with the Divinity, then it is sure and certain that we become identified with those who are in the categories of nondevotee.
Materially advanced people may ask what is our loss by remaining a nondevotee? What is there if somebody remains nondevotee by his natural tendency unlike One who becomes a devotee by his inclination. To answer this question it may be said that if we want to remain a nondevotee, threefold miseries inflicted bv the laws of Nature will surely disturb us. The miseries are, one related with our gross body and subtle mind, two in relation with other living being and three in relation with the troubles inflicted upon us by the controlling deities namely the sun, the moon, the planets, and others. And such troubles are generated only in our state of forgetfulness of our eternal relation with Godhead. In the Bhagwat Geeta it is said that the laws of Nature are insurmountable by the attempt of conditioned souls. Those who surrender unto the Supreme will of Godhead, can only get rid of such threefold miseries of the laws of Nature. It must be understood that the laws of Nature is so made that they make a presance(?) by force to revoke the lost relation of living being with Godhead. In extreme difficulty i.e. when a man fails to make solution of his difficult problems, he automatically and unconsciously makes a surrender unto God. It is clear therefore that the natural law is something like police action of Mother Nature to reinstate a living being unto the transcendental loving service of Godhead. It being so, if we want to get real relief from the stringent laws of Nature it is our duty to become devotee. We gain everything by becoming a devotee and we spoil everything by remaining a nondevotee. The human form of life offered by Mother nature is a chance for the living entity to revert to his original position of a devotee.
The material Nature of Godhead is called illusory (Maya) because it keeps us in darkness of ignorance when we misuse our human independence by animal proclivities. The material Nature is personified in the divinity of Godess 'Kali' whose grim feature is devastating and she dark all over the body although she appears Herself in the attractive feature of a young girl. Her thankless task is to keep the conditioned soul in the darkness of ignorance as long as misuses his human independence and keep him always aloof from the transcendental service of Godhead. In that state of ignorance, the conditioned soul, instead of rendering service unto Godhead, thinks himself wrongly as the one who may be served by Godhead. In such a state of ignorance, he thinks that the beauty of material nature is made by Godhead for his exploitation and enjoyment. In that state of ignorance he wants to lord it over the laws of nature and meets thereby devastation and nothing else. That is the picture, real picture of Godess 'Kali'. The conditioned soul wants to pacify the devastating feature of material Nature by his own manufactured plans and techniques without knowing it well, that the material Nature cannot be brought into service of the conditioned soul and that she cannot be conquered except by the method of complete surrender unto the lotus feet of the Absolute Personality of Godhead Sree Krishna.
By the misuse of the infinitesemal independence given to the living being, he poses himself to be able to accept the prayers of other individual souls by becoming a false God himself and does not put himself for the prayers of Godhead. With such vain purpose, the conditioned soul is trying to become a designer of a peaceful world situation(?) Such imperfect wishful desires in the minds of the conditioned souls, make them oblige to become the leaders of other innocent men, just like a blind man desires to direct the activities of other fellow blind men. And all these misconducts become possible when we are overshadowed upon the pure knowledge of our own self. In such state of things only we think ourselves only as the supreme designer, master, enjoyer, seer and doer of everything. But when we enter into the association of devotees for guidance we can know that we are neither, the designer, nor the master, nor the enjoyer and everything is done by the will of God through His different agencies and therefore He is only the object of our adoration and worship.
It is however very difficult to rise up to such standard of pure devotional activities in this world. Most people are inclined to work under the laws of 'Karma'or to work for one's own fruitive enjoyment. No body works for any other else except for his ownself. Under the law of 'Karma' the narrow minded conditioned soul does labour for his own benefit under illusion He works for his own benefit, for his family's benefit, for his society's benefit, for communities benefit, for his country's benefit or for his party's benefit, but no body works for Gods' benefit. That is the life of a nondevotee.
Beneficient activities for ones' self-interest or for the matter of extended self-interest are done under the laws of 'Karma' and the labourer under such laws of 'Karma' are called 'Kripana' or misers distinguished from the 'Brahmanas' or the broad minded liberals. Such narrow minded leaders may be very popular by their philanthropic activities, but the devotees let us know that such leaders under the laws of 'Karma are bound up hands and legs and cannot deliver us the real thing. They can give us temporary relief and illusory happiness subject to the laws of Nature and as such beneficial activities are sure to be lost in the wilderness of eternity at the cost of immense loss of human energy. The devotees let us know that our only duty is to workout the plan of Godhead by rendering transcendental loving service for him. Such service is possible to be done by every one and all because God is for all living beings. Sectarian service for Material Nature keeps aloof the lower grade of living entities from direct service but transcendental loving service of Godhead is possible to be done by all creatures of God never mind what they are either the gods, the men the beasts, the birds, (? ) , and all other living entities. Non-devotees are inclined to think that human being is meant for enjoying life. The human life is different from the animal life by the angle of vision of the nondevotee in as much as varieties of enjoyment can be undertaken by the human being. Such non-devotees distinguish the life of human being from the life of lower animals by qualitative and quantitative distinction of the grades of sense gratification.
The conditioned soul therefore is afraid of mixing with the association of devotees thinking that by such association he may be drifted from his sensual enjoyment. In such ignorance only, the nondevotee tries to turn the table upon the devotee by emphasizing on the point that the devotees are not liberal because they do not encourage their indomitable desires for material hankerings neither do they support others wild (?) for extravagancy conditioned by the laws of Nature. To the non-devotees the cultural and progressive life of a devotee is a sort of monotory and obstruction to unrestricted flow of material enjoyment. The nondevotee will be able to make a perfection of his life when he will be able to see the Personality of Godhead besides his ownself and try to serve Him instead of falsely serving himself either in concentrated or extended mode. On that auspicious day of his life, the nondevotee will get relief from such troubling conceptions as the atomic theory of the cosmic world(? ) or the conceptions of false nationalism, philanthropic and other mundane (?) one ideologies. The nondevotee will from that date engage his ears for aural reception of the science of transcendental loving service of Godhead from those who are engaged hundred per cent in such transcendental loving service of Godhead.
But if the nondevotee without associating with the pure devotee continues his material worship he will do so at the risk spoiling his human energy by serving the material Nature atom by atom for millions and millions of different grades of life.
By the association of the devotee, the nondevotee will come to his senses that by serving the Divinity only all other objects will be served. By watering the root of a tree the leaves and branches are simultaneously watered and by supplying food in the stomach all the senses are automatically served and nourished. The secret of this science can be revealed only by the association of pure devotees.
Such pure devotee is peaceful and non-aggressive. He is never attracted by any object of material happiness. Neither in this life or in the life after, a pure devotee has any attraction for anything which can be more attractive than the transcendental beauty of the lotus feet of Lord Krishna the Personality of Godhead. As such, we must note it for certain that whenever there is any lack of such attraction for the lotus feet of Sree Krishna we are surely being counter attracted by the illusory Energy in her manifold representations.
We can acquire full knowledge of everything by knowing well the All perfect, from his devotee. One who has scanty knowledge of the Complete Whole or one who is materially poor in knowledge and opulence, how he can do good to others and if he ever does so he can disseminate his poor fund of knowledge to the still more poor audience or followers. In outstanding contrast to such poor fund of knowledge and acquisition, the devotee has in his possession 'Bhagawan' or 'Narayana' who is the fountainhead of all opulence, all power, all beauty, all fame, all knowledge and all indifference in fullness. Therefore a pure devotee is also full of all opulence, all power, all beauty, all fame, all knowledge and all indifference. 'Narayana' or 'Bhagavan' does never become poorer as somebody thinks Him wrongly or less than His original potency by such controlling of His devotee and He remains the same full in every aspect. That is the instruction we have from the 'Brihadasarayaka Upanishad' It is said there that the Absolute Truth is full in every respect and if His full strength is deducted from Him still He remains full. The subtracting process of matter make it ultimately nil. But the complete Whole Spirit by the process of eternal emanation, eternally remains the complete whole. One who has in his possession such Complete Whole i.e. one who is eternally engaged in supra mundane service of Godhead, cannot be compared with any mundane creature. That is the difference between a devotee and a nondevotee.
It may be noted however that transcendental service of a pure devotee is more important than the transcendental service of Godhead. The devotee is the transcendental medium through whom it is possible to render service unto Godhead. Lord Chaitanya is the ideal devotee and those who follow His footprints are also ideal devotee. Lord Chaitanya is more kind than Sree Krishna although Lord Chaitanya is Sree Krishna Emperic speculators become unwilling to surrender unto Sree Krishna as it was demanded by Him in the Bhagwat Geeta. Ashuras like Dantabakra and Shisupal considered it that Sree Krishna is not the Absolute Truth and therefore they declined to surrender unto Him. Although Sree Krishna presented Himself as the Absolute Truth and although He manifested His all-pervading universal feature in His own transcendental Body, men who have very poor fund of knowledge considered Him as an ordinary man like them and thus made malafide interpretations of the Bhagwat Geeta. And in order to rectify this malafide representation of Bhagwat Geeta, Sree Krishna appeared Himself again in the Form of Lord Chaitanya but this time He did not declare Himself as Supreme Lord but He presented Himself as an humble devotee of the Lord. As such Lord Chaitanya is more kindly than Lord Krishna.
Lord Chaitanya made it clear that by becoming a devotee of Sree Krishna no interest of Krishna is served. Sree Krishna being full in Himself He does not need the service of any body else. But it is the interest of the devotee to serve Sree Krishna because by such service only he can himself become constitutionally perfect and happy. He also warned us for committing the mistake of thinking God as an ordinary man or an ordinary man as God. Both conceptions are dangerous in the path Divine life. No mental speculator has even been able to surpass the knowledge of Lord Chaitanya. Each every one of them were defeated by Him and therefore Lord Chaitanya is worshipped by all section of sane persons. He unfolded the real nature of the living being and every one was made perfect by His preaching by knowing himself as eternal part and parcel servitor of Sree Krishna. The teachings of Bhagwat Geeta was practically demonstrated by Lord Chaitanya, the ideal devotee.

When the agent mind, under the influence of the external energy of Godhead, tries to cheat its master spirit soul, the living entity becomes a worker to enjoy the fruitive result. Religious ideologies that have so far been introduced in the phenomenal world have practically choked up the transcendental service of the Absolute. Such mental speculationists try to engage the devotee also for satisfying their fruitive ideologies. But the devotee keeps himself aloof from them by miles asunder. Mental speculation is based on false ego as it is said in the Bhagwat Geeta that conditioned soul thinks himself a worker bewildered by the false ego. If we are therefore influenced by mental speculative process for religious ideologies, certainly we shall remain a bewildered fruitive actor and shall never be able to become devotee.
Let us therefore be prepared to become the transcendental servitor of the devotee of the Divinity only. Let us not be misled by false status quo. We can fulfil our lifes' mission simply by serving & associating with devotee who are cent per cent engaged in the service of the Divinity.
