MORALITY

Amongst misogynists some are polygamists. Most have organized or joined what's now known as the GHQ ('General' 'Headquarters.') The Bible, and many other scriptures, also incorporate polygamy, and we understand it is of the past. In Krishna Consciousness it is also of the past.

All devotee men, when in their youthful hope and zealousness of going back to Godhead, one wife was considered an austerity and evaded as long as possible, with brahmacarya pursued intensely. That wasn't belittlement of women, just commitment to spiritual life as a priest, all attention on Krsna. Likewise, brahmacarini's (women nun's) did the same, and it was highly rewarding.

Seems now as certain men age, the older they get, the less spiritual they became, increasing materialism. Frankly, wanting massive pleasures they previously took solemn vows against. Currently no longer renouncing sensual pleasures of mind and body. Enjoying in these material ways rather than stick to vows that resulted in great joy in Krishna.

"We have actually seen, especially in the Western countries, that men who have reached more than eighty years of age still go to nightclubs and pay heavy fees to drink wine and associate with women. Although such men are too old to enjoy anything, their desires have not ceased." SB 9.19.16

Strangely polygamists proclaim this verse not be relevant to them because they do not go to nightclubs. None, their behavior is exact same. While this writer can never be in agreement with polygamy, at least if they were honest its resultant from their impure desires, as opposed to coming from their exalted spiritual position, it would be less of a disturbance to our society. Dishonesty here means dishonesty elsewhere. Not trustworthy.

"A person should be so nicely trained up that the one wife with religious ceremony, by performing religious ceremony, is given to him, he should be satisfied with her, not to see other women, adulteration. This is Kali-yuga." S. Bhagavatam class, 1974

"Tapasya begins with brahmacarya, life of celibacy, or
accepting one wife only. That's all." Srila Prabhupada, 1976

It is but a common point made by polygamist “initiated disciples” that women who do not follow their spiritual understandings are but *hores, believing to be saving the world from such *hores by marrying them. They point out social importance of marrying more then one woman will keep society safe and pure from woman sexual wanderings. They consider themselves as the only correct followers of Srila Prabhupada.

REALITY: Where did Prabhupada state his purpose of global travel and opening temples, be morality? He began the world wide Hare Krishna Movement to reveal otherwise unseen by us, opportunities to reutrn back to Godhead, it was for development of worship and service to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, stoppage of repeated birth or death - bringing all devotees on to Krishnaloka. Morality is an automatic benefit. No extra endeavor is required by human overseer men. Guru Prabhupada accepted women disciples with the same vows and seriousness of male disciples.

Historically within the movement there have been more men racing after sex, then the women.

Currently, their claims are that of saving women from sexual falldowns, promiscuity, and immorality.

Falsehood.

Men like this are following the movements typical history of those who deviated in the past. They are not special. Fallen men who no longer want to follow the right way, while claiming to be good devotee - has gone on forever.

"According to scriptural injunctions, one is forbidden to engage with any woman other than ones wife. All other women are to be considered as one's mother. But in spite of such injunctions, a man is still inclined to have sex relationships with other women. " BG 3. 34

The reverse can happen of women causing trouble. Its revealed misogynists belittlement of women; but also her own inner strength, women --not so much trouble as they'd like everyone to believe. Women apply effort to stay on their best behavior, controlling mind and senses. Leaving initiated polygamistic man retaining lust, where?

Men who complain "*hore" are revealing:

"You're rejecting me, won't have sex with me, I am so great, more advanced than young boys, other men don't follow as well as I do, why you do not want me? You are nothing but a *hore!"

They deny this they believe. It remains a truth. Be it inability to sustain control over woman at all times, or his personal rejection, insecurities; its evident his consciousness is depressing, yet mean.

Some "vow taking monks" want sex with 'virgin' girls, while remaining honored as spiritually advanced men -concurrently. Their soul can not be very full, chasing after the most intense forms of pleasure in attempts to fill it. However, they all ready have the process, simply unwilling to apply it and be happy again.

"A man who possesses a good wife does not create a disturbance in society by corrupting virgin girls. Without a fixed wife, a man becomes a debauchee of the first order and is a nuisance in society" - S. Bhagavatam 3.14.20, P

To indulge in such things, they joined wrong religion. There's others where they could mask themselves as priestly yet have such sex, but not this one. To do so is a farce. Any body with a grain of brain cells, sees through them. Their transparency is more obvious then they’re aware.

"It is clearly visible that when a neophyte in Krishna consciousness eats too much, he falls down. Instead of being elevated to pure Kṛṣṇa consciousness, he becomes attracted by Cupid. The so-called brahmacārī becomes agitated by women, and the vānaprastha may again become captivated into having sex with his wife. Or he may begin to search out another wife." SB 4.26.13

Shall they view themselves as grandiose and above neophyte, they are sorely mistaken.

When explained to one devotee man that, "*hore calling" as going on regarding the female devotees, he was startled. Subsequently replied: "Then those men are *hore-MONGERS."

"Finally, this verse states that in the age of Kali a man will become known as a priest, or brahmana, merely by wearing ceremonial dress. In India, brahmanas wear a sacred thread, and in other parts of world members of the priestly class have other ornaments and symbols. But in the age of Kali the symbols alone will suffice to establish a person as a religious leader, despite his ignorance of God." -Bhagavatam 12.2.4

These men are making a bad reputation for themselves. They are making a bad reputation for innocent men.

Internet readers who don't understand (the credit thus blame polygamists grant Prabhupada for their bad behavior), hence polygamists are generating poor reputation in those persons about Srila Prabhupada.

May the misogonystic polygamists give up their lusty ways, cleanse the heart of dirty things, and honestly return to keeping the vows of a lifestyle they once promised their guru, and relished in.

"One cannot enter into the kingdom of God unless one is perfectly cleared of all sins. The material sins are products of our desires to lord it over material nature. It is very difficult to get rid of such desires. Women and wealth are very difficult problems for the devotee making progress on the path back to Godhead. Many stalwarts in the devotional line fell victim to these allurements and thus retreated from the path of liberation. But when one is helped by the Lord Himself, the whole process becomes as easy as anything by the divine grace of the Lord." Srimad Bhagavatam 1.2.17

Nectar follows-

"Dear Tulasi, please bestow your mercy upon me, so that I may forever reside in Vrindavana." "Vrindavana is completely under Vrinda-devi's grace." Without the mercy of Vrinda-devi it is not possible to enter into the confidential pastimes of Radha and Krsna, not even as a listener in an audience."
