Madhurāṣṭakam - By Vallabha Acharya he Sweetness of Lord Sri Krishna
The Madhurasthakam, composed by Sri Vallabhacharya (1478 A.D), is a unique stotra, describing the sweetness of Lord Sri Krishna.
Madhurashtakam was originally written in Sanskrit and is easily understood. Only one word, madhuram, is repeated seven times each in this ashtakam (poem with eight verses)!
The Madhurasthakam uses just one adjective, "madhuram", meaning sweet or beautiful etc., to describe the lovely attributes of Lord Sri Krishna’s beautiful form, who is the master of Sweetness and Sweetness personified.
It is evident from the ashtakam that the devotee is fascinated to have a look at not only the beautiful divine sweet form [sarvanga sundara rupam] of Lord Krishna but also the very existence of the Lord -- by way of His moves, plays, pastimes, etc.
Thus says the devotee: "The Lord of Mathura, Krishna, is sweet, sweet and nothing but sweet! Even ambrosia and nectar may satiate after some time, but concerning the sweetness of the Divine Lord, one cannot have enough of it. Krishna’s lips are very sweet, his beautiful face is sweet, his beautiful black eyes with sidelong glances are sweet, his enchanting smile is even sweeter, his love-sports are sweet and his three-fold bend form is very sweet. O Lord of sweetness, everything about You is completely sweet, You are sweetness personified. "
Madhurāstakam By Vallabha Acharya
Sri Nathji - Krishna he Sweetness of Lord Sri Krishna
Vallabha-acharya (1479-1531) A famous 16th century sage-philosopher of India and great devotee of Lord Krishna. He was born in Champaran near Raipur in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.
Vallabha is regarded as an acharya and guru within the Vaishnava traditions of Rajasthan and Gujarat. Within Indian Philosophy he is known as the writer of sixteen 'stotras' (tracts) and produced several commentaries on the Bhagavata Purana, which describes the many lilas (pastimes) of the avatar, Krishna. Many of his pieces involve praise of Lord Krishna, especially in the form of a boy. Some works include Vyasa Sutra Bhashya, Jaimini Sutra Bhasya, Bhagavata Tika Subodhini, Pushti Pravala Maryada and Siddhanta Rahasya, all in Sanskrit. He has written many books in Brij Bhasha as well.
Vallabha Acharya occupies a unique place in Indian culture as a scholar, a philosopher and devotional (bhakti) preacher. He is especially known as a lover and a propagator of Bhagavata Dharma, teaching the path of Pushti-Marga, or the "path of grace", establishing the worship of Sri Nathji.
Shri Nathji is the form of Lord Krishna when he lifted the Govardhana Hill. He is shown with his left hand raised and the right hand closed in a fist and resting on his hip. His followers worship him both as Shri Radhanath or the Lord of Radha and as the mischievous child Bala-Krishna.
Vallabha emphasized, that Shree Krishna is the personification of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who prevails everywhere and who resides in everyone’s heart as the Supersoul as well.

GBC Disagree-Will Mayapur Revist?
(The Mayapura meeting has come and gone, with nothing mentioned. Faith in them is down the drain. What a shame they did not take the need to fully renounce the GHQ 100%, as something very serious. I shall sit and wait for the eventual lawsuits or different serious problems to arise. If they be smart, they may reopen the case. Though another year for them to reopen and reexamine it, not something I plan on waiting. Hope they dont wait for the yearly meetings to make these changes, there can always be hope some temple president on his own will be strong in the face of the GHQ abusers, bewilderers of Prabhupada's program. A a temple authority by himself could ban each one he knows. If real fortunate an independant GBC member may also come out of the depths of minimizing the importance of this, and start to speak up against the GHQ. It seems too many authorities are either cowards, or agree but keep it silent. The point here has been made, its never to late for them to continue to rectify. If they want to maintain followers of GBC, good idea to do so and not make all wait for the next Mayapura meeting. I'll be practicing Krishna consciousness independantly, but with hopes these changes get made, maybe when I'm not even looking.) GBC Disagree-Will Mayapur Revist? With the upcoming Mayapur meetings, this post is in hopes Governing Board or GBC will not ignore, will not say "we've all ready done this," but sees this real problem was left in limbo, incomplete. This post is to recognize the vast difference between what is preached by GHQ and what is preached by Prabhupada, then asking authorities brave enough to take protective measures not only for the sake of women and children, but also for the sake to keep Srila Prabhupada's Movement pure, and as he wanted it. Remember when there was abuse in old gurukula schools? Surely abusers could come up with quotes and phrases to appease those who investigated them. Its not hard, an easy decoy. Did GBC agree with 'some' preachings from Dallas teachers during that abuse? Sexually molestations? Did GBC take too long to intervene because they allowed themselves to listen to misused scriptural quotes from child molesters? Learn from this history. Do not now repeat it now on women. Restorers that women are adults. However, that potion is mostly removed from the abused woman. Money and power taken away so he can do whatever he wants but she can hardly breathe. Told she will become a *hore unless she agrees with a misogyny husband. She's also constantly reminded to have no more intelligent than a 14 year old boy. Different quotes of her intelligence are avoided, both to her, and to you. GBC we implore you, don't be fanatical to avoid Mayapur discussion of this topic again. No one is beating GBC, or raping GBC's daughters. Show you are not selfish by taking care of the little people. Additional difficultiy arises when it is women and not children. With child abuse, if an authority is not a pedophile like the offender, or is unlike other offenders curel and physically or mentally abusive, it became easier to confront and resolve. However in kali yug while everyone is suppose to be celibate, too many are not, or try yet struggle. No judgement. Practically all men need a wife at lesat for subtities in life. Some don't, but if in truth (not abusing woman due to his celibacy but actually happy in his celibacy), generaully even authorities require a woman in their life, and if its not turning out to be marital bliss, they may have difficulty standing up for women, being more drawn to getting 'her' under control, rather than looking if he contributes any problems to the marriage. Marriage is a purifying ashrama after all, meaning two need purification, not just one. However, then marches in the GHQ, savor of their day, justifying cruely toward woman, in hidden wording and sneaky actions. Thus we hope any authority with woman issues too, humbles themselves by resolving marital problems through healthy ways, not align with ghq woman-haters quick fix now. (Bullying.) Scary consequences upon time of death.
If GBC still agrees with some GHQ beliefs, we the other half (& more) of the ISKCON, suggest those particular GBC members are no longer qualified because:
- Because it reveals GBC is under bodily concept of life, without a doubt.
- Because agreeing with GHQ gives GBC extra unnecessary power & control over women.
- Whereas genuinely qualified authority all ready have proper power and control, does not need to steal it using methods of the weak, or materialistic techniques. GBC should already have spiritual strength to inspire others want to do what is right, or to maintain.
- Because agreement with some misogynists beliefs include: attention only to misogynists philosophical good points and ignoring bad points. Hashing it out: something be good, something be bad, results in too much time spent on the mental platform when Prabhupada has all ready made it clear. Surrender to his method, otherwise interim, abuse will continue.
However GHQ hase big lying propensity. Look at the many letters Srila Prabhupada wrote to his female disciples and see if there is any inferiror lesser treatment. What is found are instructions how to be transcendenal to any material body, to be Krishna conscious. Therefore some gbc, the misogynist ones, have now convinced many devotees inferiority toward women is Prabhupada's way, but that not true, becasue it is THEIR way.
* GBC, remember that GHQ will always want to overthrow ISKCON, they desire to marry (sex up) underaged minors, look downward upon Latinos and blacks, ghq believe in wife beating, & in society of celibate initiates they believe in rape of wife, and in polygamy (you 'know' they are having lots of sex, wake up if you don't), ghq blames their sins on Prabhupada as if he authorized and wanted it. Consciousness of GHQ is very low and degrading to the Movement. They're also ruining Prabhupada's reputation on the internet. Where he once was the guru of love and revealing God as beautiful Krsna, he is now known as a promoter of misogyny!
Mr. GBC, do you really want conncections with them? If so, keep only 'disagreeing' with them, & when they start to show up on "Sex Offender Lists," or arrested by a neighbor who saw something weird, things beyond control, and somewhat due you never preaching them out of maya or next renouncing all connection with them, then ISKCON authorities will be legally considered some form or other of an accomplice. Hope you have extra cash for lawsuits. Regardless how the results turn either way, they're an accident waiting to happen.
Since that has all ready been forewarned, maybe not so bad if it happens. Maybe what it takes to get you to climb out of ivory towers with high pay checks, and see the way the rest of us live, so many who hang on your words and making of laws, waiting for relief. The rest whom you are suppose to be getting pay checks to take care and protect. If you continue to not do so, don't be surprised if some devotee family member becomes willing to go to court as a witness if needed. WAKE UP, we don't want that to happen. Therefore FULLY disagree with GHQ and get them out of our hair too.Put distance between yourself and the bizarre GHQ, or somehow or other, it will backfire and karmically find you.
For goodness-sake, stop making us wait around until the proper time or the perfect meeting. Get moving before its YOUR sister, wife they mean-mouth or call *hore, your child, or the child or your child -that these ghq get their muddy hands on. You can't protect all your family members on an individual basis, but have much more power to achieve that collectively, as a GBC member.
Remove GHQ with legal paperwork, from anything connected to isckon, or you too become supporters of these polygamists pedophiles, Narcissists, or criminals.
If GBC refuse to do these things, maybe GBC should no longer be given paychecks until they do their job. Maybe some GBC are also woman-haters and therefore unqualified to be leader GBC. How many misogynist GBC do we have? Wonder why the Movement doesn't flourish? There's one good reason. Many GBC only "disagree" with some parts of woman-hater GHQ preachings, because other parts, such as the misogynistic parts, they agree!Enough is enough. How long GBC you think everyone will put up disguised woman hatred. Not a great disguise, we see through it easily.
Calling all GBC misogynists, please step down, or will qualified GBC please remove these misogynists? No more statements of: "we disagree," but fully disagree, or give up position. Either it pays to do that, or you're a misogynists like the ghq.
Much GBC power comes from the people. When the people stop believing in you, gradually you will loose. The people with female children are sick of it.After writings before on this blog, godsisters and their husbands logging complaints to GBC about merely "disagreeing" with the GHQ (what a slap in the face women felt when GBC said like this!), I too am loosing faith in you. Thus Mr. GBC either do your job or get off the pot. Rid yourselves of ideas of ghq as right, remember how that didn't work for child abusers justifying their sins with Prabhupada's words, and detach from GHQ's bad association, or step down. All ideas should come from Prabhupada, no need to read selective quoting of GHQ as if they are your authority. GBC, for every crisis that manifests, you take too long to resolve. They often would not have to rise to the platform of crisis if you renounced politico, got up, and did your service to protect the devotees. Thus GBC, this is the latest opportunity. Do it now and save grace.
If you keep right on merely "disagreeing," next devotee families will keep right on moving out. We do not bloop but remain devotees of Krishna in safer environment, as we don't need you to be a devotee of Krishna, but we would rather have you , if you did right by us.
Directly read and take instruction from Prabhuapda's writings and notice too how he truthfully treated women.Everyone thinks they are so smart with University degrees, yet Prabhupada himself used the same words GHQ uesed (misuse) , but never do we see him to abuse women or children, or anyone.
What's obvious to the sincere, to the humble, is that we often do not understand the transcendental writings and wordings of the high consciousness and intelligence of the pure devotee Srila Prabhupada, thus according to everyone's individual natural propensity some may think he meant (to go ahead and abuse) which is not what he meant. Men if suppose to be superior intellect, why they don't get this? Some do, it is the criminally minded, or the sick, or the exceptionally puffed up, who don't get it.
Dear GBC, please consider, the educated who read what ghq preacher believe them to be: very emotionally messed up, or suffering from some form of mental illness, or criminally minded. While you are only disagreeing with some parts of what ghq says and agreeing with others, those with intelligence only focus on the dangerous parts, as should you. If we are to draw more into the movement, do you want the crazies like the polygamists or even wives who agree? If you think the submissives will be easier to control, this is illusion. They are often the crazies, will ultimately cause a trouble you don't even know how to deal with. Better to attract the more functional type of women, and their husbands, to the movement. Wholesome families, who would then be helpful to you.
GBC do you job, or let someone else do it if you don't want to get involved. Action must be taken soon, or everyone wholesome will start to leave. The sane don't stay in movements that tolerate abuse. The inteligent know thats nutty.
Devotee and the Divinity
An Essay By A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada
A pure devotee is just like the Desire-Tree from whom we can have on request everything desirable. This is no myth or bluff but it is actual fact. The devotee can deliver to us the mercy of God and what is not obtainable by one who has got the mercy of God? Therefore the devotees are the most magnanimous in their charitable disposition of mind. They are also the deliverer of the fallen souls and we need to offer our obeisances unto their lotus feet so that we can invoke their blessings in our all attempts.
The highest authority for benediction is God Himself and the Devotees are His custodians. If a devotee desires to bestow upon us the mercy of God, he is quite competent to do it in all respects. Such devotees are called Mahatmas i.e. those who have surpassed all narrowness of the mind because supramentally they depend upon God & God alone they enchant(?) His glories and discuss about His wonderful acts. All these make the devotee just qualified to accept everyone's' obeisances and the devotee as respectfull as the Personality of Godhead Himself. There is no difference between them qualitatively.
I must think always myself as the most fallen soul as I am so by dint of my mundane attachment and if I surrender unto the devotee, surely he will protect me in all respects: I am a needy man, constantly suffering from the pangs of insufficiency and the devotee is as above mentioned, the desire tree from whom I can have everything that I may desire. The devotee is not a miser like the mundane people and had he not been so, I could not have satisfied all my needs from him only. The Divinity has empowered the devotees to deliver the fallen souls like me and by nature they are not only kind but also liberal and munificent. They are not poor either in knowledge or in opulence. Therefore, if we at all want to satisfy our all (?) needs, we must approach the devotee only; otherwise if we approach any other person, not only not our desires will be satisfied in full but also we shall imperceptibly accumulate a range of inauspicious things which will baffle our desire to become complete and self-sufficient.
If we have to approach therefore a devotee of the nature described above, we must have at last the preliminary knowledge for discriminating a pure devotee from the nondevotee. Let us first of all understand what are the other (?) that co-exist along with the pure devotee. The devotee is relatively known with the existence of the Divinity or the Personality of Godhead who is the Fountain head of everything that be. (?) along with the existence of a devotee and the Personality of Godhead, there is another set of living being who are detached from direct relations of Godhead and therefore known as the nondevotee. In other words men who are eternally attached to the transcendental loving service of Godhead, is called the devotees and men who are wrongly detached from the transcendental service of Godhead but have the latent potency to become so engaged (in the service) of Godhead, are called the non-devotees. In Sanskrit language the devotee is called 'Vaisnava' the divinity is called 'Visnu' and the nondevotee is called 'Avaisnava' Thus we can conclude that there are these three categories eternally co-existent in this world.
The 'Avaisnavas' or the non-devotees are those who are constantly engaged in topics and matters not concerned with the Divinity or Visnu. Such non-devotees have made up their own plan of living, dictated by the illusory energy of Godhead and they think it their duty of life to eat drink be merry and enjoy the senses. The whole plan of material civilization is based on the foundation of such non-devotional plan of sensuous activities.
Therefore if we want to be devotee or 'Vaisnava' we must make it a point of our life, that we shall not talk or hear of anything which is unconcerned with the Divinity. What we eat, what we give, what we meditate upon, and all such other things must be related with the Divinity. It is our duty to eat the remnant of food stuff first offered to the Divinity, it is our duty to talk about Him and to preach about Him. We must always allow ourselves to be under the guidance of a pure devotee and if we neglect to become so and so in relation with the Divinity, then it is sure and certain that we become identified with those who are in the categories of nondevotee.
Materially advanced people may ask what is our loss by remaining a nondevotee? What is there if somebody remains nondevotee by his natural tendency unlike One who becomes a devotee by his inclination. To answer this question it may be said that if we want to remain a nondevotee, threefold miseries inflicted bv the laws of Nature will surely disturb us. The miseries are, one related with our gross body and subtle mind, two in relation with other living being and three in relation with the troubles inflicted upon us by the controlling deities namely the sun, the moon, the planets, and others. And such troubles are generated only in our state of forgetfulness of our eternal relation with Godhead. In the Bhagwat Geeta it is said that the laws of Nature are insurmountable by the attempt of conditioned souls. Those who surrender unto the Supreme will of Godhead, can only get rid of such threefold miseries of the laws of Nature. It must be understood that the laws of Nature is so made that they make a presance(?) by force to revoke the lost relation of living being with Godhead. In extreme difficulty i.e. when a man fails to make solution of his difficult problems, he automatically and unconsciously makes a surrender unto God. It is clear therefore that the natural law is something like police action of Mother Nature to reinstate a living being unto the transcendental loving service of Godhead. It being so, if we want to get real relief from the stringent laws of Nature it is our duty to become devotee. We gain everything by becoming a devotee and we spoil everything by remaining a nondevotee. The human form of life offered by Mother nature is a chance for the living entity to revert to his original position of a devotee.
The material Nature of Godhead is called illusory (Maya) because it keeps us in darkness of ignorance when we misuse our human independence by animal proclivities. The conditioned soul wants to pacify the devastating feature of material Nature by his own manufactured plans and techniques without knowing it well, that the material Nature cannot be brought into service of the conditioned soul and that she cannot be conquered except by the method of complete surrender unto the lotus feet of the Absolute Personality of Godhead Sree Krishna.
By the misuse of the infinitesemal independence given to the living being, he poses himself to be able to accept the prayers of other individual souls by becoming a false God himself and does not put himself for the prayers of Godhead. With such vain purpose, the conditioned soul is trying to become a designer of a peaceful world situation(?) Such imperfect wishful desires in the minds of the conditioned souls, make them oblige to become the leaders of other innocent men, just like a blind man desires to direct the activities of other fellow blind men. And all these misconducts become possible when we are overshadowed upon the pure knowledge of our own self. In such state of things only we think ourselves only as the supreme designer, master, enjoyer, seer and doer of everything. But when we enter into the association of devotees for guidance we can know that we are neither, the designer, nor the master, nor the enjoyer and everything is done by the will of God through His different agencies and therefore He is only the object of our adoration and worship.
It is however very difficult to rise up to such standard of pure devotional activities in this world. Most people are inclined to work under the laws of 'Karma'or to work for one's own fruitive enjoyment. No body works for any other else except for his ownself. Under the law of 'Karma' the narrow minded conditioned soul does labour for his own benefit under illusion He works for his own benefit, for his family's benefit, for his society's benefit, for communities benefit, for his country's benefit or for his party's benefit, but no body works for Gods' benefit. That is the life of a nondevotee.
Beneficient activities for ones' self-interest or for the matter of extended self-interest are done under the laws of 'Karma' and the labourer under such laws of 'Karma' are called 'Kripana' or misers distinguished from the 'Brahmanas' or the broad minded liberals. Such narrow minded leaders may be very popular by their philanthropic activities, but the devotees let us know that such leaders under the laws of 'Karma are bound up hands and legs and cannot deliver us the real thing. They can give us temporary relief and illusory happiness subject to the laws of Nature and as such beneficial activities are sure to be lost in the wilderness of eternity at the cost of immense loss of human energy. The devotees let us know that our only duty is to workout the plan of Godhead by rendering transcendental loving service for him. Such service is possible to be done by every one and all because God is for all living beings. Sectarian service for Material Nature keeps aloof the lower grade of living entities from direct service but transcendental loving service of Godhead is possible to be done by all creatures of God never mind what they are either the gods, the men the beasts, the birds, (? ) , and all other living entities. Non-devotees are inclined to think that human being is meant for enjoying life. The human life is different from the animal life by the angle of vision of the nondevotee in as much as varieties of enjoyment can be undertaken by the human being. Such non-devotees distinguish the life of human being from the life of lower animals by qualitative and quantitative distinction of the grades of sense gratification.
The conditioned soul therefore is afraid of mixing with the association of devotees thinking that by such association he may be drifted from his sensual enjoyment. In such ignorance only, the nondevotee tries to turn the table upon the devotee by emphasizing on the point that the devotees are not liberal because they do not encourage their indomitable desires for material hankerings neither do they support others wild (?) for extravagancy conditioned by the laws of Nature. To the non-devotees the cultural and progressive life of a devotee is a sort of monotory and obstruction to unrestricted flow of material enjoyment. The nondevotee will be able to make a perfection of his life when he will be able to see the Personality of Godhead besides his ownself and try to serve Him instead of falsely serving himself either in concentrated or extended mode. On that auspicious day of his life, the nondevotee will get relief from such troubling conceptions as the atomic theory of the cosmic world(? ) or the conceptions of false nationalism, philanthropic and other mundane (?) one ideologies. The nondevotee will from that date engage his ears for aural reception of the science of transcendental loving service of Godhead from those who are engaged hundred per cent in such transcendental loving service of Godhead.
But if the nondevotee without associating with the pure devotee continues his material worship he will do so at the risk spoiling his human energy by serving the material Nature atom by atom for millions and millions of different grades of life.
By the association of the devotee, the nondevotee will come to his senses that by serving the Divinity only all other objects will be served. By watering the root of a tree the leaves and branches are simultaneously watered and by supplying food in the stomach all the senses are automatically served and nourished. The secret of this science can be revealed only by the association of pure devotees.
Such pure devotee is peaceful and non-aggressive. He is never attracted by any object of material happiness. Neither in this life or in the life after, a pure devotee has any attraction for anything which can be more attractive than the transcendental beauty of the lotus feet of Lord Krishna the Personality of Godhead. As such, we must note it for certain that whenever there is any lack of such attraction for the lotus feet of Sree Krishna we are surely being counter attracted by the illusory Energy in her manifold representations.
We can acquire full knowledge of everything by knowing well the All perfect, from his devotee. One who has scanty knowledge of the Complete Whole or one who is materially poor in knowledge and opulence, how he can do good to others and if he ever does so he can disseminate his poor fund of knowledge to the still more poor audience or followers. In outstanding contrast to such poor fund of knowledge and acquisition, the devotee has in his possession 'Bhagawan' or 'Narayana' who is the fountainhead of all opulence, all power, all beauty, all fame, all knowledge and all indifference in fullness. Therefore a pure devotee is also full of all opulence, all power, all beauty, all fame, all knowledge and all indifference. 'Narayana' or 'Bhagavan' does never become poorer as somebody thinks Him wrongly or less than His original potency by such controlling of His devotee and He remains the same full in every aspect. That is the instruction we have from the 'Brihadasarayaka Upanishad' It is said there that the Absolute Truth is full in every respect and if His full strength is deducted from Him still He remains full. The subtracting process of matter make it ultimately nil. But the complete Whole Spirit by the process of eternal emanation, eternally remains the complete whole. One who has in his possession such Complete Whole i.e. one who is eternally engaged in supra mundane service of Godhead, cannot be compared with any mundane creature. That is the difference between a devotee and a nondevotee.

Ashuras like Dantabakra and Shisupal considered it that Sree Krishna is not the Absolute Truth and therefore they declined to surrender unto Him. Although Sree Krishna presented Himself as the Absolute Truth and although He manifested His all-pervading universal feature in His own transcendental Body, men who have very poor fund of knowledge considered Him as an ordinary man like them and thus made malafide interpretations of the Bhagwat Geeta. And in order to rectify this malafide representation of Bhagwat Geeta, Sree Krishna appeared Himself again in the Form of Lord Chaitanya but this time He did not declare Himself as Supreme Lord but He presented Himself as an humble devotee of the Lord. As such Lord Chaitanya is more kindly than Lord Krishna.
Lord Chaitanya made it clear that by becoming a devotee of Sree Krishna no interest of Krishna is served. Sree Krishna being full in Himself He does not need the service of any body else. But it is the interest of the devotee to serve Sree Krishna because by such service only he can himself become constitutionally perfect and happy. He also warned us for committing the mistake of thinking God as an ordinary man or an ordinary man as God. Both conceptions are dangerous in the path Divine life. No mental speculator has even been able to surpass the knowledge of Lord Chaitanya. Each every one of them were defeated by Him and therefore Lord Chaitanya is worshipped by all section of sane persons. He unfolded the real nature of the living being and every one was made perfect by His preaching by knowing himself as eternal part and parcel servitor of Sree Krishna. The teachings of Bhagwat Geeta was practically demonstrated by Lord Chaitanya, the ideal devotee.

When the agent mind, under the influence of the external energy of Godhead, tries to cheat its master spirit soul, the living entity becomes a worker to enjoy the fruitive result. Religious ideologies that have so far been introduced in the phenomenal world have practically choked up the transcendental service of the Absolute. Such mental speculationists try to engage the devotee also for satisfying their fruitive ideologies. But the devotee keeps himself aloof from them by miles asunder. Mental speculation is based on false ego as it is said in the Bhagwat Geeta that conditioned soul thinks himself a worker bewildered by the false ego. If we are therefore influenced by mental speculative process for religious ideologies, certainly we shall remain a bewildered fruitive actor and shall never be able to become devotee.
Let us therefore be prepared to become the transcendental servitor of the devotee of the Divinity only. Let us not be misled by false status quo. We can fulfil our lifes' mission simply by serving & associating with devotee who are cent per cent engaged in the service of the Divinity.

A pure devotee is just like the Desire-Tree from whom we can have on request everything desirable. This is no myth or bluff but it is actual fact. The devotee can deliver to us the mercy of God and what is not obtainable by one who has got the mercy of God? Therefore the devotees are the most magnanimous in their charitable disposition of mind. They are also the deliverer of the fallen souls and we need to offer our obeisances unto their lotus feet so that we can invoke their blessings in our all attempts.
The highest authority for benediction is God Himself and the Devotees are His custodians. If a devotee desires to bestow upon us the mercy of God, he is quite competent to do it in all respects. Such devotees are called Mahatmas i.e. those who have surpassed all narrowness of the mind because supramentally they depend upon God & God alone they enchant(?) His glories and discuss about His wonderful acts. All these make the devotee just qualified to accept everyone's' obeisances and the devotee as respectfull as the Personality of Godhead Himself. There is no difference between them qualitatively.
I must think always myself as the most fallen soul as I am so by dint of my mundane attachment and if I surrender unto the devotee, surely he will protect me in all respects: I am a needy man, constantly suffering from the pangs of insufficiency and the devotee is as above mentioned, the desire tree from whom I can have everything that I may desire. The devotee is not a miser like the mundane people and had he not been so, I could not have satisfied all my needs from him only. The Divinity has empowered the devotees to deliver the fallen souls like me and by nature they are not only kind but also liberal and munificent. They are not poor either in knowledge or in opulence. Therefore, if we at all want to satisfy our all (?) needs, we must approach the devotee only; otherwise if we approach any other person, not only not our desires will be satisfied in full but also we shall imperceptibly accumulate a range of inauspicious things which will baffle our desire to become complete and self-sufficient.
If we have to approach therefore a devotee of the nature described above, we must have at last the preliminary knowledge for discriminating a pure devotee from the nondevotee. Let us first of all understand what are the other (?) that co-exist along with the pure devotee. The devotee is relatively known with the existence of the Divinity or the Personality of Godhead who is the Fountain head of everything that be. (?) along with the existence of a devotee and the Personality of Godhead, there is another set of living being who are detached from direct relations of Godhead and therefore known as the nondevotee. In other words men who are eternally attached to the transcendental loving service of Godhead, is called the devotees and men who are wrongly detached from the transcendental service of Godhead but have the latent potency to become so engaged (in the service) of Godhead, are called the non-devotees. In Sanskrit language the devotee is called 'Vaisnava' the divinity is called 'Visnu' and the nondevotee is called 'Avaisnava' Thus we can conclude that there are these three categories eternally co-existent in this world.
The 'Avaisnavas' or the non-devotees are those who are constantly engaged in topics and matters not concerned with the Divinity or Visnu. Such non-devotees have made up their own plan of living, dictated by the illusory energy of Godhead and they think it their duty of life to eat drink be merry and enjoy the senses. The whole plan of material civilization is based on the foundation of such non-devotional plan of sensuous activities.
Therefore if we want to be devotee or 'Vaisnava' we must make it a point of our life, that we shall not talk or hear of anything which is unconcerned with the Divinity. What we eat, what we give, what we meditate upon, and all such other things must be related with the Divinity. It is our duty to eat the remnant of food stuff first offered to the Divinity, it is our duty to talk about Him and to preach about Him. We must always allow ourselves to be under the guidance of a pure devotee and if we neglect to become so and so in relation with the Divinity, then it is sure and certain that we become identified with those who are in the categories of nondevotee.
Materially advanced people may ask what is our loss by remaining a nondevotee? What is there if somebody remains nondevotee by his natural tendency unlike One who becomes a devotee by his inclination. To answer this question it may be said that if we want to remain a nondevotee, threefold miseries inflicted bv the laws of Nature will surely disturb us. The miseries are, one related with our gross body and subtle mind, two in relation with other living being and three in relation with the troubles inflicted upon us by the controlling deities namely the sun, the moon, the planets, and others. And such troubles are generated only in our state of forgetfulness of our eternal relation with Godhead. In the Bhagwat Geeta it is said that the laws of Nature are insurmountable by the attempt of conditioned souls. Those who surrender unto the Supreme will of Godhead, can only get rid of such threefold miseries of the laws of Nature. It must be understood that the laws of Nature is so made that they make a presance(?) by force to revoke the lost relation of living being with Godhead. In extreme difficulty i.e. when a man fails to make solution of his difficult problems, he automatically and unconsciously makes a surrender unto God. It is clear therefore that the natural law is something like police action of Mother Nature to reinstate a living being unto the transcendental loving service of Godhead. It being so, if we want to get real relief from the stringent laws of Nature it is our duty to become devotee. We gain everything by becoming a devotee and we spoil everything by remaining a nondevotee. The human form of life offered by Mother nature is a chance for the living entity to revert to his original position of a devotee.

GHQ Serious Problems
Srila Prabhupada explained difference between Bhakti Yoga (Krishna consciousness) and other yoga's. Other yoga's are likened to a tinkers hammer, used upon gold it hits with a "tink tink." Bhakti Yoga is likened to a huge hammer in one big "pow" metal is reformed, our karma released, God worshipped.
To some extent this post to be as that, because it gets nauseating to continously speak on GHQ, but for sake of truthful protection for women and chldren, it must be done.
Principally, to clear Prabhuada's name which GHQ misuses, causing many to loose interest in joining with the Iskcon. Hopefully enough will be said now to make clear it as time to give the a "smack down" to woman abusers who blame their woman abouse on Srila Prabhupada and Veda.
Start with GHQ's endless concept all women as *hores that ruin society unless those women agree to lay beneath them in a polygamous relationship. Apparently society will fall apart unless we give our daughters to them, or ourselves.
Somehow ended up reading many editorals on them, it appears regardless how many times women tell ghq that females are not living lifestyle of *hores, GHQ ignores, basing it on quotes from Prabhupada. Readers, shall you be currently practicing a particular faith, I highly recommend you make every attempt to separate the above problems from the spiritual aspect, from the addiction, and then recognize the recovery needed too. The sufferings of the entire human society can at once be brought under control simply by individual practice of "Bhaktiyoga" a simple and easy process of chanting the holy Name of God. Every country, every nation and every community throughout the world has some conception of the holy Name of God and as such either the Hindus or the Mohammedans or the Christians every one can easily chant the holy Name of God in a meditative mood and that will bring about the required peace and good will in the present problematic human society.
Any enquiry in this connection will be gladly answered by Sri Swamiji.
The Hindus generally chant the holy Name of God in sixteen chain of transcendental sound composed of 32 alphabets as "Hare krishna, hare krishna, krishna krishna hare hare., Hare rama, hare rama, rama rama, hare hare." The Vedic literatures like the Upanisads and the Puranas do recommend chanting of the abovementioned sixteen holy Names at a stretch and Lord Sri Chaitanya, Who preached this cult of chanting the holy Name of God, gave special importance on these transcendental sounds. In this age of Kali or the age of hate, hypocrisy, corruption and quarrel, the only remedial measure is that every man should chant the holy Name of the Lord both individually and collectively.
The Glories of the holy Name have been described by Sri Chaitanya in His eight verses of "Siksastak" which run as follows:—
1. Glory to the Sri Krishna Samkirtanam which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years together and thus the fire of conditional life of repeated birth and death is extinguished. Such Samkirtan movement is the prime benediction for the humanity at large because it spreads rays of the benediction - Moon. It is the life of transcendental knowledge, it increases the ocean of transcendental bliss and it helps to have a taste of the full nectarine for which always anxious we are.
2. Oh my Lord! Your holy Name can alone render all benediction upon the living being and therefore you have hundreds and millions of Names like Krishna, Govinda etc. In these transcendental Names you have invested all your transcendental potencies and there is no hard and fast rules for chanting these holy Names. Oh my Lord! You have so kindly made easy approach to you by your holy Names but unfortunate as I am, I have no attraction for them.
3. One can chant the holy Names of the Lord in an humble state of mind thinking himself as lower than the straw on the streets, tolerant more than the tree, devoid of all sense of false prestige and being ready to offer all kinds of respects to others.
4. Oh the Almighty Lord, I have no desire for accumulating wealth nor I have any desire to enjoy beautiful woman; neither I want any number of followers of mine. What I want only is that I may have your causeless devotional service in my life birth after birth.
5. Oh the son of Maharaj Nanda, I am your eternal servitor and although I am so, some how or other I have fallen on the ocean of birth and death. Please therefore pick me up from the ocean of death and fix me up as one of the atoms of your lotus feet.
6. Oh my Lord when shall my eyes be decorated with tears of love flowing incessantly by chanting your holy Name? And when all the holes of hairs on my body will have erruptions by the recitation of your Name?
7. Oh Govinda, feeling your separation, I am considering a moment as 12 twelve years or more than that and tears flowing down my cheeks like the torrents of rains. I am feeling all vacant in the world without your presence.
8. I do not know any one except Krishna as my Lord and He shall remain as such even if he handles me roughly by His embrace or He may make me broken hearted by not being present before me. He is completely free to do anything but he is always my worshipful Lord, unconditionally.
Chanting of the holy Name of God is recommended for every one both for the mass of people and the class of people. Those who are scholars, philosophers, scientists, religionists and educated, may read the English version of SRIMAD BHAGWATAM by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami with particular attention to the purports appended with each and every verse.They have appreciated the publication as follows:—
"At a time when not only the people of India but those of the west need the chastening quality of love and truth in a corrupting atmosphere of hate and hypocrisy, a work like this will have uplifting and corrective influence. What is God? He is truth, He is love. Even an atheist must accept the supremacy of those qualities and how much they are needed by the people of the world who have been tought to deny God and these qualities, do not require much emphasis."
"The author has attempted a tremendous task... A perusal will give us in the sample measure a knowledge of the original. The essence of Srimad Bhagwatam is the exposition of the Absolute Truth, we would recommend this book."

DASI
Discovered a spin-off of GHQ. It's ghq for women. Apparently there's always a percentile of women in society who like punishment and abuse. This group is called DASI. Do not confuse with an ISKCON woman group by similar name. There are two dasi organizations. Found little interest in either, but if forced to single out the better of the two, iskcon branch is safer. They may also preach some subservient position, but a difference be, they'll not force you to remain a member to still be worthy of respect. If you leave their group, they may not promote you, however if they find you are still to be a spiritual person they may. Especially you will be allowed to promote yourself.
Amusing how ghq men criticize iskcon women in charge of anything, nonetheless here they be, letting their woman in charge of DASI. Apparently iskcon women, even when going through husband to take charge of something, that was not good enough for ghq. If ghq did not know about it, they critized her, until they made sure she had spoken to her husband first. They are authority over her husband? He must inform them? Then hypocritical ghq lets one of their women take charge of DASI.
Their defense? Men are overseeing. With smallest amount of examination it became obvious - she's in charge. Merely look at the countless writings, most are a by woman than by men. They're hers specific. When such men write, it then requiress more colaboration, like mini-meetings, & often purpose is to give additional male glorification to a topic she all ready made.
Amazing they can twist Prabhupada's philosophy to extreme depths, rejecting what they dislike & accepting only what pleases their mind and senses. Then mark claims as superior devotees.
Denail strong. Illusions. Because to admit they've been living long time in make believe castle in the sky, is too much for their false ego to accept. Unless they rid false ego. Unlikely.
DASI is militant. Prabhupada was loving. DASI uses lies and tricks to convert. Prabhupada used "purity is the force," letting people make honest choice. Whether be man or a woman, those who deviate from sublime, beautiful, pure enlightenment of Srila Prabhupada, then present their deviations as truth, have almost always swerved away from his most basic instructions to all devotees:
Left to specualte, with ideas worth consideration.
I love the temples, if they would make modifications to respect these needs all would be well. But I will not sit idly by with woman blamed for actions of men. Many godsisters were chastised for taking care of their "bags of stool." DASI or GHQ blames broken homes on woman? They always skirt making man accountable when males do something wrong, even to blame that on woman.
Apparently some of them believe accepting that is to be chaste. But it is dishonest & breed dishonesty. Understandle every once in a while a husband does something wrong, the wife often will pretend to the public he did not, while internally she knows better, but protects him in this way. However, misogynists expect that alall the time. It be nice if he did truthful protection and not put her through reactions that are deserved upon him. Very cowardly for those who make unlimited claims of their superior qualiities. Then why they be such cowards they must hide behind wife's apron strings? If he has the huptza to do wrong actions, let him have courage to accet full consequences. If he often performs wrong actions, wife has to take the blame or no longer be though of as chaste, do they not feel in their gut how sickening this is? How dishonest, infection to their own soul? Kali yug is barely standing, and its spiritual success is that it stands on the last leg which is honesty.
Now if woman does something wrong they call her *hore and send her to hell fire. How pusillanimous not to at least admit what faults are his, becauyse then they could improve, advance.
They next quote Prabhupada on 'no divorce,' but so long as they maintain karmi behavior like abuse or serious neglect, they will receive karmi reactions like divorce. Initiated Vaishnava woman do not deisre divorce, might tolerate a man who abuses 'if' he admits its from karmi past and obtains treatment or somehow purifies self. However, can't criticize Vaisnava women for getting free of him if he wont admit his abuse is from his karmi personality, but instead tries to pass it onto Prabhupada or God. Such an offense can not be tolerated.
When there is criticism on iskcon broken homes coming from these who proclaim to be Vedic women we must look deeper. Iskcon has history to look at and learn from, and they are doing exactly what old iskcon did when young and foolish, who have now stopped many such practices after discovering it did not work, as well as learning they misunderstood - spiritual maturity.
Here we have DASI women saying they've spoken to iskcon children to find out they are unhappy, when in fact they themselves are training their daughters to marry at age of minor, to serve man as her lifes goal. Sons trained to maintain excessive false ego of never wrong, gurupate of wife who can do anything he wants. They've taken it further than iskcon, yet they think the problems of the children they spoke with are a result of non Vedic woman? That the a good wife will hold family together regardless depths of abusiveness of some husband? They view him not abusive but Vedic? Such actions only make children miserable. They need to come out ofdenail. No protection from mom there.
Likely thinking making him happy will automatically bring her back to Godhead, as they read in scripture. If they have a pure devotee husband, such luck. Since that has yet to be seen, or proven, its but illusion to assume always pleasing the husband when he's in maya, would deliver the wife. It may avoid arguments, but this not be a post on marriage skills, in favor of, or against, which ones. This be a blog of those initiated, only on spiritual qualification of husband as guru. If he's in maya (such as wanting sex without 50 rounds, or bullying), if she passes it off as spiritual, first she is lying to herself. she now has assisted herself and husband to take birth again. Possibly children too, since they train them to be just like them. They are kept very controlled and see not much else. Nowhere has Prabhuapada said husband can do whatever he likes, contrary, he has said husband must live as a paramahansa.
False egos' run high. They want to follow something lower and call it higher. Whether that be due to lying to us or themselves, or be due to large false ego rejects awareness of truth, becomes hard to discern. What we know is, those who have studied Prabhupada's letters to his disciples can defeat the bogus DASI and their unqualified husbands GHQ.
Will not speak much on devotees of this strange organization, DASI. Wishing only to give warning. They are militant and sexaholics, bowing to their husbands every whim. EVERY. Worship of man. They will sneakily twist this as they twist a myriad of topics they speak on.
Instead, we proclaim:
Here's what they say on guru-pati which is only the half of it. No religion makes bona fide the incontestable worship of earthly man, especially if he wants more women, especially if he be a woman-hater. Woman hater propensity immediately removes him from advanced spiritual position.
Incidentally, that lovely picture of the two innocent looking 1940 girls who sparked probably in all who viewed it, admiration for their satvic appealingly mode of goodness purity? They were melechas! Just see how easy it is to fall under maya's clutches. Repeatedly Srila Prabhupada has explained, we are not interested in the mode of goodness, we are interested in overcoming ALL of the material modes of nature and going further, up to Krishna consciousness:
Initiated devotee woman are automatically moral, then going higher up to Krishna conscious. Because she is Krsna conscious she may be strong, which is what DASi & GHQ reject, yet Prabhupada instructed woman they should be strong preachers for Krishna. If that instruction does not make for the perfect cozy home-life DASI or ghq dreamed of, too bad. Besides, they practice nice grhastha lifestyle outlined by Srila Prabhupada. These woman are still submissive by nature, just submissive to the pure devotee Srila Prabhupada first and foremost! Just see how easy it is to fall under maya's power. Initiated devotee woman are automatically pure because they are celibate and follow Krishna consciousness program by Prabhupada.
May sound common sense to the rational. However, just try leaving ghq Dasi and letting them know why. Though no one can force you to remain a member (otherwisthe they would), next you will be condemned to the eternal hell fire, bad mouthed to as involved in serious maya for disagreement with them, others warned they better avoid your association.

- Chant 16 rounds every day without fail.
- Follow the 4 regulative principles strictly and without fail. (Clearly they break this one, more often than they'll ever let you know!)
- Rise early.
- Attend Mornging and Evening programs (even if have to do it themself as has been done in Preaching Centers throughout the world).
- Take cold shower.
- Book Distribtion (chances they participate in this is joke.)
- Don't eat too much or too little, eat simple. (Often they are wanting of a wife or wives for purpose of cooking fancy meals for their uncontrolled tongue).
- HariNama Sankirtana. (Unlikely.)
- Prabhupada addressed certain letters to "ALL MY DISCIPLES" with instructions that applies to any and all devotees in his Brahma Sampradaya lineage. They don't follow many, seldom read them, except to argue them, find excuse around it.
- Avoid committing the 10 Offenses (which they commit everyday when they call a devotee woman a *hore, think of Vaisnava woman as sex toy, hold hate in mind & heart for women.)
Who wouldn't, when they are called guru-pati, given permission to rape (makes you think they are going at it like rabbits, though entire ghq makes you think nearly all of them be going at it like rabbits - or wish they were), shared agreement for polygamy, and get to hear how wonderful they are extensively?
The sincere wouldn't. The healthy wouldn't. The humble wouldn't.It may seem startling to male readers that a woman would promote ghq philosophies as with DASI. Particularly one with brains. Its common intelligent women in the material world, and devotees, succumbed to abuse for many reasons. It's a misunderstanding that the higher the intelligence, the higher the psychological health. That's not always the case. Intelligent levels are irrespective. The college educated have willingly accepted abuse from patients.
Any woman putting up with abuse of this level, of this weirdness, including sexual opportunities for polygamy with options to include underaged minor, either that wife can't escape; or a wife may be entangled, and some are just messed up. May have formerly lived in worse situations, then discovered Krishna Consciousness, experienced some happiness. If husband turned out to be abuser, weighing against her past experiences, this was standard. Afterall, he's superior because his abuse included a spiritual component, must be right, isn't it?
No, it's sick. Regretably they've not experienced life that did not include some categorical nature of toxic abuse, thinking we be nuts for not surrenderng (to harmful man or situation). To them such surrender be normal, regardless how high their IQ. Don't remain unaware, mark it down or mentallyl that "intellence does not simultaneously indicate emotionally sound."
Therefore, protect yourself and become proficient how to recognize sound mental health from the unsound. Specifically refering to: emotional stinking thinking.
Am in realization they'll insist they're Vedic and healthy, criticize things here. That's part of the delusions. We will even agree some might try live similar lifestyle but its extremely rare do it right in kali yuga and succeed. This has yet to be seen. Most who did it right were sages from ancient time periods. Most born into the realistic current kali yug can't truthfully live that lifestyle. It can be a cause of falldown.
Also why His Divine Grace Srila Prabhuapda outlined a program specificually to those born in this kali yug. DASI (and GHQ) need not manipule Prabhupada's words to fit what they like to believe, such as blind surrender to their husband as if he's higher than he truthfully is, making him worshipable as gurupati, or misogny, polygamy. We ourselves will stick with Prabhupada's clear highest instructions he specifically left behind to follow. and said not to change anything.
Contagious to the weak, unrecognizable to the innocent, worship of man as the way to God has been going around, for some it has set-in as the norm. Beware. Observe it been promoted in smart clever way by smart women (who believe abuse as not abuse) which may confuse, until these perspectives mentioned become more clearly understood.
Be careful and aware of thier use of the word "traditional" roles of women. Sounds warm and fuzzy, can smell the sweet rice cooking from here. However, in truth its code for "man worship, artifical immitating saints, accepting spousal abuse as deserved" & a slew of other 'misunderstandings' they seem to want to maintain as a misunderstanding.
Not intending to engross ourselves with them, debating their infinite reasons they veil themselves with, simply trying to help others recognize misrepresentation of Srila Prabhupada by them. They are adults, can do as they like. Wuld be different if they did so quietly. The problem arises with this misrepresentation of Prabhupada that next causes many to have no interest in his genuine theachings. The other problem they indulge in, is spreading and preaching their ways to others and mislead them as well.
Look to the polititions. Are they all in accuracy with what they preach? No. Yet you probably voted for many who said things you believed in, later to find it was "bait and switch." Watch out for this DASI group, it will cheat you.
They'd debate: No, we don't cheat, we teach you to cope with husbands anger as your saving grace, we teach you its good for 11 or 12 year old girl to marry older men, we teach you its wise to share man with co-wives, we teach you abuse is not abuse but what you deserved.Some tell themselves these to survive. Worse are those who believe it. They often are its preachers. Now doing the brainwashing that use to be done to them in their past. No one can help those indoctrinated. Srila Prabhupada never indoctrined, and always used loving kindness, pure scripture, & not sexual promiscuity they inform using his name. Offensive.
In passing came upon an editorial on Vedic woman. Mostly likely from Dasi. A picture it showed, two western young ladies from probable 1940s, smiling sweetly in such purity. Their dresses long, hair curly, looked like sisters or twins, ever so happy, nice. Any man would want to marry such a girl. Wait, what was that? In my tracks I stopped. For a moment I fell into the illusion myself, thus can't imagine what a man would feel. They were but a picture of "subtle sex life!" Not the type of purity related to Krishna, but the type of purity related to woman.
We repeatedly seem to need to remind devotees, that on this blog we speak of INITIATED women, or women desiring initiation, not any woman, however pious. Devotee is always about the Hare Krishna Movement, always about Prabhupada's instructions, not about even the sweetest of womanhood. OUr philosophy is we are not our body and to do the correct work to over come that and align with our spirit soul.
While I equally abhor men that next be hateful toward sweet woman once figuring out the sweetness they were drawn to was a sex attraction. Such men need to recognize most devotee woman are not trying to make him fall down, it is his own uncontrolled sex attraction he is feeling. Don't take it out on her.
"Attraction and repulsion for sense objects are felt by embodied beings, but one should not fall under the control of senses and sense objects because they are stumbling blocks on the path of self-realization. PURPORT - Those who are in Krsna consciousness are naturally reluctant to engage in material sense gratification. But those who are not in such consciousness should follow the rules and regulations of the revealed scriptures. Unrestricted sense enjoyment is the cause of material encagement, but one who follows the rules and regulations of the revealed scriptures does not become entangled by the sense objects. " - Bhagavad gita as it is, ch 3, TEXT 34
It is equally an offense for initiated women who takes vows of celibacy and spiritual life seriously, to next see her use other women for attracting devotee men: "Oh look! This picture of innocence, this is what you want now isn't it?" Only two freedback replies, both male, none seeing through the illusion. Repeatedly its been agreed, there's not difficulty accepting the adults of DASI (or ghq) desire for sex, and their desire to live a different lifestyle from the one Prabhupada outlined for the initiate. (However if they are initiated, and most of them are, they are insubordinate to His Divine Grace's instructions to the initiate.) The difficulty arises due to DASI & GHQ's misrepresentation of him, and their arrogance they be superior followers. Just look up his expectations of "disciple" and that will quickly be cleared away. They are following something different.
Vedic woman, as they chronically propose, is not hard for she who all ready Vaisnava following Srila Prabhupada's program. There be many such quotes to promote this also, therefore read Prabhupada's actual instructions for this yug, and don't be mislead by their fanaticism. Vedic woman is part of Varnashrama dharma, and to maintain law. Krishna consciousness is higher, where woman all ready is a Vedic woman, needing no extra endeavor if she is following the vows she took, which included the program specifically outlined by Srila Prabhupada.
A woman who worships Mother Durga is also a Vedic woman, a female who worships Lord Siva - also Vedic woman. Lady who worships the impersonal brahmajyoti - Vedic Woman. She who believes its 'all one' can also be a Vedic woman. Some of these ladies can be even more strict than Dasi women! Dasi is strict, but these other Vedic women, some, be more strict.
Upon times it brings up wonder, can't be helped to ask, what happened in the past of these obsessive promoters of Vedic womanhood, that they must always present themselves as purest of the pure? Srila Prabhupada has not left that out of the process he gave (4 regulative principles, Morning program, Sankirtana service). The highest level of purity is automatically achieved through Krishna conscious activities, why therefore they hanker upon hanker for more and more purity?

- Were any of them violated as a child?
- Were any of them told they would never be pure?
- Were any of them the oppposite, spoiled cild of family who had to be perfect always?
- Is there a sexual component to this pushing of Vedic woman purity, since we see it is not abot purity of soul and God, but toward husband?
- Though rare, are some such woman narcasists? Aftr reading the definition of the female narcasist, it was startling, recognizing what might be characteristics promoted by wife of GHQ, or DASI.
To have purity of wife, there need be purity of husband. Not showman purity, such as with most and probably all GHQ. Not to marry, then rape, under-aged girl and claim to be Vedic. They are not qualified as the scriptural men they read about, thus they be making offenses.
Admit to have found their next topic and explanation interesting, that woman are considered less intelligent not as much due to intelligence level, but due to emotional level. If this be fact, then it must be given notice, should a husband abuse his wife, she is going to be emotional. If anyone abuses anyone at all, they will react with strong emotions. Blaming women as too emotional often be an escape technique used by irresponsible men to avoid admission of what they've done wrong.
Lets bring to the forefront men often are as emotional as women in kali yug, more likely to use emotions of smart-alec sarcasm, anger, jealousy, picking fights, and other emotions acceptable to them merely because they are recognized as mostly male. However, emotions are emotions, all of which will block the intelligence levels. Its been a constant, for such men to treat their women cruelly, then blame her as overly emotional. Not behavior of Vaisnava husband, thus if he does like karmi or abuser, do not complain she's emotional, thereby less intelligent.
All this is similar to black slaves of Old South America, whose owners were convinced of their intellectual inferiority, while these same owners beat and deprived them of knowledge. Unfortunately may have been difficult to put to knowledge to memory under such stressful abusive situations. Then using that as evidence they are less intelligent. Centuries later when slavery and abuse became illegal, we now have a beautiful colorful world filled with highly intelligent black doctor, architects, teachers.
No one should expect they can abuse another, than complain that other is too emotional, therefore less intelligent. Bogus. Offensive. Offenses accumulate, reactions karmically will return to sender when least expected.
Then in the article comes mention of so many divorced at temples, further suggestive is their buck passing to woman, leaving certain men unaccountable for their actions. If brave enough to look at truth, notice authorities demanded both to husband and wife to minimize child care and do something else. They always skirt making man accountable when males do something wrong, even to blame that on woman.

Understandle every once in a while a husband does something wrong, the wife often will pretend to the public he did not, while internally she knows better, but protects him in this way. However, misogynists expect that alall the time. It be nice if he did truthful protection and not put her through reactions that are deserved upon him. Very cowardly for those who make unlimited claims of their superior qualiities. Then why they be such cowards they must hide behind wife's apron strings? If he has the huptza to do wrong actions, let him have courage to accet full consequences. If he often performs wrong actions, wife has to take the blame or no longer be though of as chaste, do they not feel in their gut how sickening this is? How dishonest, infection to their own soul? Kali yug is barely standing, and its spiritual success is that it stands on the last leg which is honesty.
Now if woman does something wrong they call her *hore and send her to hell fire. How pusillanimous not to at least admit what faults are his, becauyse then they could improve, advance.
They next quote Prabhupada on 'no divorce,' but so long as they maintain karmi behavior like abuse or serious neglect, they will receive karmi reactions like divorce. Initiated Vaishnava woman do not deisre divorce, might tolerate a man who abuses 'if' he admits its from karmi past and obtains treatment or somehow purifies self. However, can't criticize Vaisnava women for getting free of him if he wont admit his abuse is from his karmi personality, but instead tries to pass it onto Prabhupada or God. Such an offense can not be tolerated.
Additionally, since early on the men were glorified but unfortunately did not come up to outlined standards, too many let it go to their head, abused wife, cheated on her, ignored the children (except to punish), became the center, thinking too often always be right. Rresults in no humility in marriage, which results in abuse if wife disagree with him, which resulted in iskcon divorces. Probably they all went over to the GHQ. LOL Because iskon is more and more purifying, getting rid of this maya.
When there is criticism on iskcon broken homes coming from these who proclaim to be Vedic women we must look deeper. Iskcon has history to look at and learn from, and they are doing exactly what old iskcon did when young and foolish, who have now stopped many such practices after discovering it did not work, as well as learning they misunderstood - spiritual maturity.
Here we have DASI women saying they've spoken to iskcon children to find out they are unhappy, when in fact they themselves are training their daughters to marry at age of minor, to serve man as her lifes goal. Sons trained to maintain excessive false ego of never wrong, gurupate of wife who can do anything he wants. They've taken it further than iskcon, yet they think the problems of the children they spoke with are a result of non Vedic woman? That the a good wife will hold family together regardless depths of abusiveness of some husband? They view him not abusive but Vedic? Such actions only make children miserable. They need to come out ofdenail. No protection from mom there.
They criticize our children, but show one blissful teenager in kali yuga? Do they take advantage of that phenomena and use it to claim they have spoken to these kids and they're miserable? Happiness is fleeting for anyone, but more-so the uncentered teenager. At least in iskcon we dont make 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 etc year old girl get married, which will damage them worse.
We would like equal time. Faciliated to similarly talk to their children, without the parents present, because we feel confident when they spoke to iskcon children, the parents were not present. Would DASI and GHQ allow us to ask questions of THEIR children. No. Because we'd discover they are no happier than iskcon children. Their girls, with the idea of having to have sex with older man, or be in weird cowife situation, regarldess how sweet a smile she's been trained to plaster onto her face, she may be deeply frightened.We are sorry DASI believes there's too much denigerating ideas on raising daughters, wondering why so fanatical they can not pick up a self help book on how to riase children, modify it accordingly. Though they will fault find it not as Veidic, as Prabhupada said to take gold from any place. Its difficult to have much compassion for their complaints that no one is caring about the purity of their daughters, when they themselves train them up to accept rape and all forms of abuse from their future husband! They are indeed focusing on the least important type of purity, the purity of body, which again is automatic if one is truthfully practicing Krishna consciousness. They are practicing caste system of old, not Prabhupada's instructions for this difficult age all live in.
We are sorry DASI does not know how to be good wife wihtout getting fanatical, refusing to read anything in addition to Vedic books teaching how to be good wife. Would make more sense if if they did not come out of karmi background, but most everyone had karmi background, sometimes other books can heal problems.
We are sorry DASI needs to control entire world on these, including devotee world, in order to have the life they want. Fact be their worries about their daughter is not really about their daughter, antheir need to glorify husand and accept mistreatmeant is not really about not their husband, its about them. Sure, some is understandable, as it is always a fear trying to raise a Krishna conscious child in modern day, with little support, and so much going wrong. Simultaneously they are not satisified with Prabhuadapada's outlined method (words they'll never speak) and want to raise their daughters a way to guarantee her purity, the type as in Varnasramadharma. We who'd much prefer our daughter be taught how to be pujari or serive Krishna, can not relate, knowing the morality these organizations fret over are not a concern in Krishna consciousness. Itis true it still happens, this they will point out and develop into an excuse for what they do instead. However, illusion is to think it can't happen in varnashramadharma either. It can happen under any philosophy, any lifestyle. However, if trained to know how to do devotions to God, not man, daughter will be saved not only of the parents morality worries, but also from repeated birth and death.
Therefore it is not about their daughter, it's about how scared, mad, worried, etc the parents feel inside. Unfortunately they do not look for practical solutions for kali yuga, as they still must all be better than everyone else, so must immitate sages in scripture. Understand, they do not feel good unless there is fanaticism in their lifle. Fanaticism helps them feel back in control.
However, just follow Prabhuapda's (accurate) gurukula method, add some mom stuff to it - not so hard. If they find it hard, we wonder why. We suspect its because they are trying to make something different, and more difficult, than what Prabhuapda outlined, for whatever psychological reasons they maintain. But can't change the reality we all were born kali yuga. Prabhupada all ready outlined a program for children, which can even be modified as long as Krishna remains the center. No need to concoct a better one through false unachievable immitations.
When next considering their belief of husband guru, since that was not the process with the presence of Srila Prabhupada, no evidence it was ever instructed to kali yug devotees, thereby causes question why these women desire to think her husband is also her spiritual master?
Likely thinking making him happy will automatically bring her back to Godhead, as they read in scripture. If they have a pure devotee husband, such luck. Since that has yet to be seen, or proven, its but illusion to assume always pleasing the husband when he's in maya, would deliver the wife. It may avoid arguments, but this not be a post on marriage skills, in favor of, or against, which ones. This be a blog of those initiated, only on spiritual qualification of husband as guru. If he's in maya (such as wanting sex without 50 rounds, or bullying), if she passes it off as spiritual, first she is lying to herself. she now has assisted herself and husband to take birth again. Possibly children too, since they train them to be just like them. They are kept very controlled and see not much else. Nowhere has Prabhuapada said husband can do whatever he likes, contrary, he has said husband must live as a paramahansa.
Considering DASI's husbands, the GHQ, attempted to overthrow iskcon, promoted disgrace to any man disagreeing with ghq, desire or believe to marry under-aged girls, add belief its acceptable to rape wife, reject certain aspects of Prabhupadas instructions they dislike, such as woman on book distribution, while pretense they are superior follows.............This is your guru?! How any woman can think this makes for qualification of guru of any sort, maybe she wants illusion too.
False egos' run high. They want to follow something lower and call it higher. Whether that be due to lying to us or themselves, or be due to large false ego rejects awareness of truth, becomes hard to discern. What we know is, those who have studied Prabhupada's letters to his disciples can defeat the bogus DASI and their unqualified husbands GHQ.
This blind acceptance of husband as guru is bogus, devotee husband must prove through example he is first qualified to be even husband, what to speak qualified to be guru. Simply taking to the Hare Krishna religion is insufficient. It is however sufficient to be a devotee himself, but to take an unquestionable position? No, only in the caste system can one automatically be given such a position. Srila Prabhupada spoke repeatedly against the caste system in kali yug, and of the importance of qualification. To give unconditional power to husband just for taking male birth is not in like with Srila Prabhupada's type of Krishna Consciousness, regardless they quote him, they simply be false imitators of past yogis in past yugas.
Will not speak much on devotees of this strange organization, DASI. Wishing only to give warning. They are militant and sexaholics, bowing to their husbands every whim. EVERY. Worship of man. They will sneakily twist this as they twist a myriad of topics they speak on.
Instead, we proclaim:
"JUST SAY NO to MAN WORSHIP."
